Purely Joyful Movie!
Baseshment
I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Afouotos
Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
Glucedee
It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

Orlando Jordan vs Chris Benoit (US title)A remarkable opening and easily the quickest match you will ever see and it was actually rather funny to. 8/10Matt Hardy vs EdgeThe build up to this was very good with the real life occurrences between Lita and Edge and we see the animosity all the way through a, once more, very short encounter. Thankfully the cage match at Unforgiven was great for retribution 8/10Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero This ladder match for the custody of Eddie's "biological" son had some great swings and moves, particularly from the late Guerrero who always shone as a heel. Ending was obvious though 8/10Eugene vs Kurt AngleSeeing wrestlers like Eugene and Hornswoggle makes me despise the company today and this is why. Eugene uses no original move and thankfully Angle shows why he is the best wrestler, and performer, of all time. 6/10Undertaker vs Randy OrtonWrestlemania rematch was all guns blazing as Orton tried to scamper numerous times and the Undertaker is never, in his whole career, boring. The ending was quite shocking to 8/10Batista vs JBL (No holds barred world title match)Brutal fist fights and a powerbomb of a climax but this was surprisingly exceptionally short and rather forgettable. 5/10John Cena vs Chris JerichoThis match has the most ridiculous outcome imaginable. Jericho, in arguably his most dominant performance in his career, is in cruise control and high flying entertaining action. Cena seriously hits about 3 big moves, this is all Y2J. Great atmosphere here as half the crowd chant "Let's go Cena" then the others chant "Let's go Jericho" 8/10Hulk Hogan vs Shawn MichaelsA reasonable climax. Given the build up and terms and everything involved it boiled down to some risky moments involving chairs, low blows etc. Hogan bleeds profusely pretty much all the way through. There was only ever going to be one ending. 7/10A very good consistent PPV with many surprises, none bigger than the first match but certainly worth checking out.

Match 1: Orlando Jordan (c) vs Chris Benoit for the United States Championship - This was unexpected. It was nice to see Benoit regain the title, but it made it seem as though all those months that Orlando had the title were just a simple fluke. Benoit makes Orlando tap in 25 seconds. New record, new Champion.Match 2: Edge vs Matt Hardy - Excellent stuff. You could see that these two truly hated each other. Matt Hardy was back and out for blood against Edge, who stole his girlfriend Lita. Even though Hardy had a tremendous comeback he still took the backseat to Edge, when the referee stopped the match and named Edge as the winner.Match 3: Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio in a Ladder match for Custody of Dominick - The storyline was a little nuts even for WWE standards, but the Ladder match was an all around battle to the finish. The whole reality base between both families kept it a little more interesting, but the match was a fantastic encounter from these two old friends once again. In the end Rey does keep the custody of his son and lays the whole ordeal with him and Eddie to rest.Match 4: Kurt Angle vs Eugene - The whole Eugene gimmick really died down several months after he arrived in WWE. Nick Dinsmore on his own is a great wrestler, but when they portray him as Eugene it kills his career opportunities. This is basically a Kurt Angle squash match. After losing his Gold Medals to Eugene, Angle is back for the Medals and out to hurt Eugene. Angle takes the win and dominates doing it.Match 5: Randy Orton vs Undertaker - Entertaining battle once again from both of these former World Champions. The score going into this match was 1-0, with Undertaker scoring the win in the first encounter at Wrestlemania earlier that year. That all was changed with a little help from Randy's father Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. With some assistance from his dad Randy Orton was able to beat the Undertaker at Summerslam.Match 6: John Cena (c) vs Chris Jericho for the WWE Champinship - The crowd was a little dead for this one. The match was alright from both of these two. Cena pretty much walked in that day knowing he would retain once more. Jericho put up a valiant effort against John Cena because the title was at stake. The whole rivalry between these two never really builded two a huge climax. The whole thing ends with Cena nailing an FU on Jericho to retain his title.Match 7: Batista (c) vs JBL in a No Holds Barred match for the World Heavyweight Championship - A pretty decent SmackDown main event for the title. JBL does a lot better as a hardcore wrestler than as a regular wrestler. Batista dominates the whole match with his overpowering champion persona. In the end he Batista Bombs JBL onto the steel steps to retain. A short match with a pretty good ending.Match 8: Shawn Michaels vs Hulk Hogan - The most anticipated match of the evening. An incredible encounter from the Legend and the Icon. The first ever meeting between these two was one of the greatest matches of the night. Michaels beat the hell out of Hogan the entire match, he even started bleeding. Hogan then did his signature Hulking up motion and nailed the big boot and leg drop. This lead en route to Hulk Hogan sealing the deal and defeating Shawn Michaels in the main event of Summerslam. Fantastic main event.

WWE SummerSlam had a very interesting match card that it definitely lived up to with it's best matches being the No Holds Barred match between JBL and Batista, the main event of Hogan vs Shawn Michaels and of course the fantastic ladder match between Rey Mysterio and the late but great Eddie Guerrero. This event without a doubt beat last year's event and set a new standard for SummerSlam events.History was made in the very first match as Chris Benoit beat Orlando Jordan in a mere 28 seconds! Which made it the quickest match in the history of the U.S title and also a new champion was born! Unfortunately I don't think the two competitors had caught all of the fans attention by the end of the match but you could catch most of the match in the replay anyway. 5/10 Matt Hardy vs Edge didn't quite live up to its expectations as it was cut short but an excellent high risk move was performed in which Hardy was standing on the ring outside the ropes and Edge speared him out the ring and onto the arena floor. This is what WWE is here for, to entertain us by putting their bodies on the line. Edge won by TKO and we saw quite a bloody mess on Matt Hardy's face. 7/10 But the match that stole the show was the ladder match between Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio for the custody of Dominick. This match is my favourite ladder match of all time and both competitors put their body on the line with great sacrifice. This shows both competitor's passion to entertain the crowd and will go down as a legendary match in the history of both these men's careers. It was also one of Guerrero's last matches before his sudden death last November. My favourite move was when Rey threw Eddie onto a supporting ladder which Rey used to climb up and both ladders fell down. One of the main reasons I liked that move was because it seemed to of gone wrong. I also loved it when Rey was hanging on to the briefcase in the air and Eddie powerbombed him from there. Rey practically fell 15 feet to the mat. The crowd were loving every minute of it and hooked on every movement. Dominick was in the crowd and the camera showed his face throughout the match. Dominick is a good actor in my opinion and better then most child actors. Eddie I think was always good at playing the bad guy. Rey Mysterio eventually won this titanic battle and even the wrestler's real wifes got involved in the act. I give this great bout 10/10.Kurt Angle beat Eugene to win back his Olympic gold medals in a bout which I think was of only RAW and SmackDown! standards. But was far from bad. 5/10 Randy Orton beat the Undertaker in an enjoyable match, but not as good as their match at WrestleMania 21. When Cowboy Bob Orton jumped into the ring dressed as some crazy person, I thought that for once something like that might be legitimate as the commentators soon forgot about the matter straight away. You can expect acts like that in WWE but you never know when they are going to happen. 7/10 John Cena defeated Chris Jericho to retain his WWE title in a match that hooked the fans and at one point got them really cheering as loud as they could for Cena when he was in danger of tapping out. I could see the point that WWE was making here as the fans support gave Cena strength to put Jericho in the FU. I don't think anyone was expecting Jericho to be fired the next night but sometimes WWE is predictable and sometimes they've got some new ideas coming out of their sleeves. 6/10 The next good bout was Batista vs Bradshaw for the World Hevyweight title in a match that could of lasted longer but was nevertheless entertaining enough. Not often do we get the barricade separating the fans from the wrestlers knocked down. The Batista bomb to JBL onto the steel ring steps was something we saw a couple of months earlier at Vengeance in which Batista did the same to Triple H. But it was a pleasant reminder. Batista won to retain his title in a match I'd give an 8/10.Then came the main event that was better then most matches but not as good as the ladder match and that was Hulk Hogan vs Shawn Michaels. This match saw some good action and HBK being thrown ring. But there was nothing special or anything new seen in this match. Although we did see Hulk Hogan's face in such a state that one would think that his face had been torn apart. Hogan eventually came out on top. 8/10 In all I think that this SummerSlam set a good standard for the next SummerSlams to come. 9/10

Folks i got to say the WWE finally gave us a show that was just wonderful. SInce Ecw One NIght Stand. SUmmerslam the Show was good Like the First match I say 30 Seconds Long Benoit wins the US Belt Finally someone good has it. And Even though it was 30 seconds it was still fun to watch because Benoit won. Next Edge and Hardy now with all the hype this match had it was a slight Disappointment how Edge won and so quickly . But the Spear through the ring ropes on to Hardy and straight to the floor was a keeper spot to say the least. Now the Match of the Night EDDIE VS> Rey Ladder. OOO MY lord this match was off the hook. And best the Feud should be over now as Rey won. Then a Match that was great because EUGENE got him Self BOOOED OUT OF THE Stadium. Angle vs. Eugene. I say it was a good match but the best part was the fact ANgle was loved in the DC and Eugene was Booed right out there. Orton vs. Taker NOw this proves one thing Taker is better with the quicker agile Atheletes more then the big slow guys. These two made each other look good on the match. Orton sadly won . but still have to say great generic match. Y2J and Cena's WWE title Match. I will say it finally Cena can perform a good match. If IF he has someone like Y2J or HBK or Angle with him. He needs someone really superior to his wrestling skill to work with to make it a good match. But this was a great wwe title match sadly Y2J lost.. Batista vs. JBL. To short But had a great powerbomb and I got some money from JBL. Last HBK vs. HOgan the Icon vs. Legend. Well No Bret hart thank god. But this match had all you needed. SHarpshooter Sweet Chin Music. Hulk up and Leg Drop and finally the Hand Shake. THis match was probably a great for Hogan as Hogan matches go.So all in all this Show Live was GREAT
