Stellead Don't listen to the Hype. It's awful
Hulkeasexo it is the rare 'crazy' movie that actually has something to say.
Sammy-Jo Cervantes There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Loui Blair It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
kliko400 I generally enjoyed this Raw PPV as it had cool matches & some shocking moments which definitely have to be seen to be believed.FIRST MATCH- RIC FLAIR VS. CARLITO FOR THE WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Pretty good match between Flair & Carlito. Both men did pretty well which also featured Flair jumping off the top rope for the first time in his wrestling career. Flair makes Carlito tap out to the Figure 4 Leg Lock to win & win the IC Title for the first time in his career. 5/10 SECOND MATCH- TRISH STRATUS & ASHLEY VS. VICTORIA & TORRIE Wilson Not a bad Diva's tag team match. Great to see Trish return & not as a heel anymore. Also great to see Ashley team up with a better Diva like Trish. Trish & Ashley win after Trish nails Victoria with the Chick Kick for the win. 3/10 THIRD MATCH- BIG SHOW VS. GENE SNITSKY Not bad for a big man vs. big man match. Snitsky tries to topple down the Big Show with everything he can, but it is not enough as Big Show nails Snitsky with the Chokeslam for the win. 4/10 FOURTH MATCH- MATT HARDY VS. EDGE W/ LITA Probably the best Steel Cage match I have ever seen. Both men tried to take some risks with high flying moves, but in the end Matt went right on top of the Steel Cage & nailed a Leg Drop right from the top cage on Edge & pinned him for the victory. {Edge was busted upon during the match}. 6/10 FIFTH MATCH- SHELTON BENJAMIN VS. KERWIN WHITE Wasn't really bad, but could of been better if they had more time to try & wrestle a better match. 3/10 SIXTH MATCH- LANCE CADE & TREVOR MURDOCH VS. ROSEY & HURRICANE FOR THE WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Don't know why, but I seriously enjoyed this tag team match. Both Rosey & Hurricane did well against the newcomers, but Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch nailed a cool double team move on Hurricane, {Don't really know how to describe the move} & pinned him for a 3 count for the win & for them to win the World Tag Team Titles. 5/10 SEVENTH MATCH- SHAWN MICHAELS VS. CHRIS MASTERS Chris Masters definitely has great charisma when going in the ring against some top WWE Superstars like Shawn Michaels here. Masters grounds Michaels with some strong grapple moves but it still isn't enough as Michaels nails the Sweet Chin Music for the 3 count to win & end Masters winning streak once & for all. 5/10 EIGHT MATCH- KURT ANGLE VS. JOHN CENA FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP Pretty good match between Angle & Cena. Although their match at No Way Out was a bit more better, this was still a good one but did not end in a right way. Cena nails Angle with the WWE Championship Belt while the referee caught him & disqualified him. After the match both Angle & Bischoff try to attack Cena, but Cena fights both of them off, gives Bischoff an F-U, then gets Angle & F-U's him through the announce table as the PPV goes off the air. 5/10 Wasn't really a bad PPV at all. This year's was definitely better than last year's Unforgiven PPV.Overall: I'll give it 7/10 & a C
Stuart Wilson When WWE announced that Flair would be challenging Carlito for the Intercontinental Championship and Shawn Michaels would be battling Chris Masters at Unforgiven I was expecting the old guys to lay down for the younger talent. I believed WWE was trying to create stars out of the up and comers by showing them as real rivals to the veterans. How wrong I was.To make new stars the old stars need to be helping out. What good did it do Chris Masters at all to be lying down for HBK? What good is it for WWE to have the Intercontinental Championship on sixteen time World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair? I guess this title change was to help out with the upcoming feud between Flair and the returning Triple H. The matches themselves were good. HBK's chin music on Masters to end their contest was an absolute belter and Flair finally hit a move off the top rope. I've been watching wrestling since 1992 and I don't think I've ever witnessed that before.Another ending that didn't make sense was the crazy finish in the WWE Championship match. the match itself was good (nothing special) but the ending let it down and in my opinion let the event down. You don't want to be ending a pay-per-view like that. One ending that did make sense was Matt Hardy picking up the win in the Steel Cage match with Edge. This was a fantastic match, best match these two have had in years and the crowd was right into it. The leg-drop finish from the top of the cage was a mega move way to end this contest. The feud between the two had seemed pretty lame and disappointing up until this point. These two stole the show.A good event by WWE but had the potential to be a lot better.
movieman_kev After clips of the Angle/ Cena feud, Unforgiven 2005 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma starts. Match 1: Ric Flair Vs. Carlito for the International Championship. Overall a pretty lackluster match, but Flair won the belt so I guess that counts for something. 4 stars out of 10. The Nature Boy then goes into a speech and pulls some plants, excuse me um..real paying attendants *wink* out of the audience. Lita talks to Edge while messaging his neck. Match 2: Tori Wilson and Victoria Vs. Trish Stratus and Ashley. I hate hate HATE women's matches as they always suck balls. This one was no exception. Trish Stratus & Ashley won, but really no one wins when there's a woman in there wrestling if you know what I mean and I think you do. 1/10. In the best segment of the PPV thus far, Flair pulls out a bottle of Viagra, after he leads the 4 girls into his limo. WOOOOOO!!! an ad for WWe Raw moving to the USA network. Dusty Hill & Billy Gibbons are introduced in the audience. Match 3: Big Show Vs. Gene Snitsky. Show manhandles Snitsky for most of the match (Snit does get a few good moves in) and Show ends up winning, hitting him one last time post-match 3/10 An ad for Wrestlemania is shown. Back at Flair's limo steam is coming off it. (it was stupid, they should have quit the joke while it was funny). Clips of the Shawn Micheal/ Chris Masters feud. Match 4: Kerwin White vs Shelton Benjamin. Not a fan of Chavo's new gimmick, but not a fan of Shelton at all. But he won anyway 3/10. Matt Hardy is interviewed about his upcoming match. Scenes of the Matt/ Edge feud. Match 5: Edge Vs. Matt Hardy in a Cell match. A pretty good match (but lets face it anything half-decent would look good after the previous 4 matches of the PPV) I think I liked the Summerslam match better though. 7/10. Bishoff yells at Cena as Edge crawls up the ramp to backstage. Match 6: Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch Vs.Hurricane and Rosey for the Tag Team championship belt. Slow, lame, and boring, but hey at least it wasn't a womens' match. Lance & Trevor, but who cares? 2/10 We're back at Flair's limo YET AGAIN (overkill) as a lady comes out wearing Nature Boy's robe. Chris Masters is interviewed briefly about his upcoming match. Match 7: Chris Masters vs. Shawn Michaels. I like Masters, I think he has potential that being said, i love HBK. They both give a pretty good match, nothing too flashy but solid enough. HBK wins. 8/10 Back to Flair AGAIN (PLEASE STOP). Another ad for Raw on USA. Clips of the Cena/Angle feud. Match 9: John Cena vs. Kurt Angle for the championship, which was alright, but judging by reaction to it was a tad overrated. Cena is still champ due to a disqualification on Angle 7/10. Unforgiven events have been pretty lackluster events in the last half decade or so and all in all this doesn't change that dubious streak.Overall Grade: C-
wrestlingsitewebmaster Unforgiven was just another passable PPV, some of the matches were crap. Results from the PPV:Ric Flair defeated Carlito to win his first Intercontinental Championship. Even though I'm not a fan of Flair, this has got to be better than having Calito as IC Champ. The Big Show pinned Snitsky in a good match.Matt Hardy pinned Edge in a fantastic cage match.Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch defeated The Hurricane and Rosey to win the WWE tag team titles. At last The Super Heroes have lost the titles!Trish Stratus and Ashley defeated Torrie Wilson and Victoria in a useless match.Shelton Benjamin pinned Chavo.... oh sorry Kerwin White in a fair match.Shawn Michaels pinned Chris Masters in a good match.Kurt Angle defeated WWE Champion John Cena via DQ.WWE could really need Triple H, Kane and Chris Jericho right now!Overall Grade - C+
