Better Late Then Never
Doomtomylo
a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Lidia Draper
Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Skyler
Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

Christian and Test v Scotty 2 Hotty and Albert:The ending got a big pop with Scotty 2 Hotty and the Worm. Rather short and forgettable to rate highly. Edge v Regal (IC title): You could tell WWE really wanted to make Edge strong, here. Another forgettable match. The fans wanted blood. They got none. Flair and Angle have a really good back stage segment. Matt v Jeff (Lita special guest ref):Really good package promo for this, summing up the rivalry. You know what? I am with Matt's side on this one. As for the match? Just like how Edge v Christian was a surprising dud so was this. For some reason neither Matt nor Jeff got a good pop to their entrance. The crowd was dead. Jeff definitely got more cheers than Matt and he got the baby face comeback routine, whereas Matt got the heel working on the limb routine. I point that out because both guys careers would go different directions with Jeff being far more popular. Not a great match at all but not as bad as people make it out. It was a solid wrestling match and with some good psychology, which the Hardys are often accused of being deficient, but the crowd just weren't into it. I guess the fans just didn't want to see them fight. It's better than the Edge v Christian matches but a bad start.Dudleys v Kane and Big Show (Tag titles):The audience sucks. They don't care for this one either although to be fair the Dudleys at this point were getting a bit tiring and the Big Show and Kane were rather aimless with little to do. Big Show spanking Stacy got the fans into this. This was a better match than a match with Kane and Bigshow should have been but nothing special so far. Undertaker v RVD (hardcore title):Just going to say it. Undertaker is the opposite of cool. He comes off like an old man trying to stay "hip" by riding a bike to the ring and wearing glasses, whilst calling himself a "bad ass". Not a good match. It goes into the crowd which is a trope common at this time but it sucks. It slows the match down and is boring. Not a good match at all and I blame Undertaker. RVD has had a really good year, especially on PPV. His matches against Jeff Hardy and Y2J were some of the best of the year. This was slow, boring and safe for the most part. DUD. Crowd enjoyed it though.Jacqueline v Trish (womens title):Botchfest but Jacqueline is really stiff which is nice to see. Really bad PPV so far. Its up to the main event to save the show. Angle v Austin (WWF title):Fans looked bored. This match was a lot like the Taker/Austin match at Judgement Day. Lots of stomps and lacking in energy and creativity. Match just kinda ends. Rock v Jericho (WCW title):Much like the last match, albeit maybe more energy. Jericho put Rock in a head lock for what felt like 5 minutes. Rock did well to give Jericho offense but the match gets lost on the outside of the ring, so the match never really gets much momentum, until the end where it gets over booked from this point.Main event (WWF and WCW title):Much like Austin v Angle but with much over booking. Overall:Bad PPV but with historic significance. My only explanation is that the guys were jaded but not a single memorable match on the card makes this the worst of the year, despite the significance. Crowd was dead for most of it. Poor effort.

Scotty 2 Hotty and Albert vs Test and Christian.Good opening but it is exceptionally hard to take Albert dancing seriously. 7/10.Intercontinental title – Edge vs William Regal.Good match with great build up, Regal again an underused superstar of mic and matt capability. Shame about the ending 8/10.Jeff Hardy vs Matt hardy. Two mega stars battling seemed awkward for fans as matt was doing a partial heel turn here. Because of this awkward brother vs brother and Lita as referee it didn't feel right and there were great moves and a controversial ending .Tag team titles Dudleys vs Show and Kane.Good match that was won a ridiculous way, great comedy here from the watching Stacy Keibler 7/10.Hardcore championship RVD vs Undertaker.A very, very good match that went through the audiences and ended in breaking fashion. Seeing Undertaker as a somewhat villain character, and not the good kind, is strange 8/10.Women's championship Trish vs Jacqueline.Good match over fairly quickly 6/10.Stone Cold vs Angle.Good match with great rivalry that went outside the ring numerous times contained some great moves and twists 9/10.Rock vs Y2J.This Jericho villain character is terrible and whilst the guy can still do the moves this was a stretch. Rock delivers great set ups and with a big shout and controversy this topped its predecessor to set up the final for the undisputed championship.Winners of last two matches face off for undisputed championship.Great match and great controversy to round off the PPV with the new undisputed champion.

This was a decent PPV, but WWE had to change the name to Vengeance from Armageddon because of what happened on 9/11. Some of the matches were boring, but some were still good. Results from the PPV: - Scotty 2 Hotty and Albert beat Test and Christian in a fair opener.Edge defeated William Regal in a passable match.Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Hardy with Lita as referee. Actually Matt still had his foot on the rope when Lita counted to 3.The Dudley Boyz defeated Kane and The Big Show to retain the WWE tag team titles in a decent match. The Undertaker defeated RVD to win the Hardcore title in a very good match.'Stone Cold' Steve Austin defeated Kurt Angle.Chris Jericho defeated The Rock.Chris Jericho defeated Austin in a boring match to become the Undisputed Champion.Overall Grade - B-

(SPOILERS AHEAD)WWF Vengeance was a good card from start to finish in my opinion (with the exception of two matches) and probably the best WWF PPV of 2001.In the opener, Test and Christian faced Albert and Scotty 2 Hotty. This was action packed from start to finish with no slow spots and it was very exciting. It was better than I expected.Next up was William Regal VS Edge. I found the match quite disappointing and both men are capable of much more. The next match was quite disappointing. The lovely Lita was the guest referee for a match between Matt and Jeff Hardy. Matt and Jeff are a great tag team-no,a brilliant tag team-but the match just wasn't exciting for me.Kane and The Big Show were next to face the Dudleyz. Just like the opening tag match, this match exceeded my expectations. WWF Vengeance was a unique card. The matches I didn't expect much from turned out to be very good indeed whilst the second and third matches were not as good as I expected. The Undertaker battled Rob Van Dam in a brutal hardcore brawl. It was brilliant although I was quite concerned for Van Dam's welfare at the end (accidents do happen). Van Dam was put through a table and it looked real painful. The Undertaker was scarier than ever.Jacqueline fought Trish Stratus in the next match. It was quite good. Then we came to the triple main event for the undisputed championship. Now, I think it is safe to say that there will never be a true undisputed champion in wrestling because wrestling champions only defend their titles against other wrestlers within their company. A true undisputed champion would defend his belt against wrestlers from different organisations across the globe. But anyway, this is the WWF and being a brilliant organisation I could ignore the above facts.Stone Cold Steve Austin faced Kurt Angle in the first match. These two men have had some good matches but this was the best. I liked the finisher where Angle tried to use Austin's own move on him and Austin turned the tables on him to gain the victory.Next up was The Rock VS Chris Jericho in what I considered a wild brawl. Both men put on a good show that night. Jericho got the win...and immediately, Austin came down to ringside to face Jericho who had already battled the Rock in a gruelling 20 minute plus match. Austin VS Jericho was quite good and the ending was quite a shocker in which Jericho became 'undisputed champion.' Most people I spoke to expected Austin to win so it was a nice surprise for Jericho to win the belt. All in all, I recommend WWF Vengeance highly. Check it out.
