TheFunkyBass I was dragged to watch this movie with my family, but I did not expect it to be that funny. I watched this movie 2 weeks after the release and it was packed. When I got the counter, every screening was full except for the last one which was pretty late. And even the last screening was 90% full, so I watched the movie way back in a corner. But I wasn't mad, because I had dinner at Friday's before the screening, and the staff was really nice. But anyway, this isn't a restaurant service review...The product placement in the film were shamelessly annoying. But the jokes were surprisingly funny, I was so glad they didn't use the best ones for the trailer. They focused the story on the relationship with Machin's girlfriend more than his career, which bummed me out. It would've been cool to see more of his career and the showbiz. The flaw with the story is that there were too many coincidences. What made the first one work, was the relatable background and real story. Nevertheless, it was well directed and the jokes will remain part of Peruvian culture. The best parts of the movie were the scenes with former cast members of the sitcom Pataclaun, they were hilarious. The ending was a bit too feel-good, but the bloopers in the credits made you forget that.Was the movie worth all the trouble? You bet. The sequel is just as good as the first one.7/10
