Reviews

ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Sienna-Rose Mclaughlin The movie really just wants to entertain people.
DimitriAM First off a lot of reviews are saying show has taped laughter... NOT TRUE! I attended a taping of this show. It is filmed in front of a live audience on CBS lot in the studio where Rosanne and Mary Taylor Moore used to film. It takes a lot of guts to share your story. I enjoyed being at the taping and watching the filming of the episode I saw. Having watched other episodes I found it to be rather delightful. May not be for everyone's cup of tea but watch it rather than reading reviews. See for yourself. After all this is entertainment!
Luis Galvan I can't believe all the bad reviews this sitcom has! This TV show is capable of making all my family laugh while it's on air. The cast is amazing but is Linda Davis who definitely steals the show with her magnificent performance.I hope CBS gives the opportunity to 9JKL and renew it for another season.
nathanalexanderds After watching 7 episodes of this show, I can genuinely say that I find this show rather amusing. Matt Murray's character Nick is hilarious and pretty much rescues every single episode he is in for example episode 7 (spoiler alert) he fires the "creepy nanny" I replayed that scene at least ten times and laughed every single time. Whilst I can understand that the first one or two episodes seem forced and a bit over the top, the further along it goes the better it becomes. the rivalry between the brothers is great to watch, the nosy parent and child dynamic (the grandparents and their two sons, not the baby parent relationship) and the employee and tenant relationship is brilliant. Although the show does need work, for example when Andrew and Eve talk about their past sexual conquests or sexual ability it is rather cringe worthy, the desperation of josh makes the show rather unbearable, and some of the situations that are shown are situations no normal human being would find themselves in or rather could be easily dealt with in a rational way.
SnoopyStyle Josh (Mark Feuerstein) moves back to NYC from LA into his childhood home apartment 9K after his TV show ended and his marriage ended in divorce. His parents Harry (Elliott Gould) and Judy (Linda Lavin) live next door. His brother Andrew (David Walton) and wife Eve (Liza Lapira) with their baby live on the other side. Nick (Matt Murray) is the doorman and Ian (Albert Tsai) lives in the building. This is schmaltzy and cliché. It is old style sitcom in the worst way. All the bad sitcom clichés are in here. The laugh track is especially sad as the jokes flop. Mark Feuerstein created the show with his real life wife Dana Klein. I don't know anything about Dana but obviously Mark is a better actor than a writer. It's rather sad to see Gould and Lavin pulled into this pathetic so-called comedy. Other than a painfully dated overall sensibility, I would switch Walton and Feuerstein although I doubt it would save this sinking ship. Josh needs a love interest but this bland sitcom fails to have this basic sitcom concept. It fails even as an old style sitcom.
