I happened to read another critic who made the observation that the Jack Griffin part seemed like it'd be perfect for Bill Murray. I prefer Howerton in the part, but it seems that A.P. Bio is constantly being dismissed as the Dennis Reynolds character in Bad Teacher or criticized for not being enough like Always Sunny. If Murray or Joel McHale had been cast as Jack, would people be making the same comparisons?I don't get the "offensive in this political climate" argument either. There's a huge difference between an exploitative abuse of power and using your position to slack off for an hour. AP Bio puts SNL's "Winston University" rules in play, with the option to brainstorm revenge missions (or use the hour to take a nap).AP Bio is a great show, and the editing squeezes lot of information into a half hour, but you've got pay attention. For someone who's a chronic multi-tasker, a lot of what sets AP Bio apart is going to be lost. If someone's simply looking for a show to work as background noise, a multi-cam comedy with a laugh track is probably the better option.

It's really more of an 8 star but with the low ratings, I had to give it a 10. All the characters are super funny and the actors/actresses are terrific. If there was ever a spin-off needed, I hope the writers make a show for the student Heather. She's hilarious.

Having read some of the IMDB reviews, I thought 'A.P. Bio' was going to be hilarious. Not only is it not funny, it's awful. Not only is the entire half-hour show not humorous, there isn't even the occasional comedic one-liner. Since Patton Oswalt is such a brilliant comedy actor, I thought his being on this show would be validation of its quality. I was wrong.Gave the show a VERY generous 2* out of 10 ~ basically because I feel bad Oswalt now has this on his resume.Simply awful.

I am so tired of idiots on this site rating shows with 1's!!!!! Let me explain to you **** sticks what a 1 is... 1's are reserved to rate shows and movies that are the worst of the worst! These movies would most likely be done in somebody's basement or a child's backyard with a phone camera! I do not understand why you think that you deserve the right to ruin shows, actor's careers, and lead others astray from having a good time with obvious good entertainment! This show is awesome!!!! If you watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia then you'll love this show! Please ignore the ***holes and morons who think this is a one or two. Trust me you won't regret it. It's freaking hilarious! Go enjoy yourself! Oh one more thing. A pray that there will be a day when IMDB will finally put their foot down and make people prove their identity and if you are caught or even suspected of giving false ratings and reviews you and all associated IP's will be banned from the site! Probably wishfull thinling, but something has got to be done!
