A Brilliant Conflict
Myron Clemons
A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
Ava-Grace Willis
Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Dana
An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

Just watched the pilot so my review is limited. After reading Dr_Sagan's review I felt compelled to give my opinion. The show hits the ground running as any good spy story should. Please keep in mind TV shows and movies are comic books brought to life on camera. In 42 minutes of run time the pilot did a good job of establishing the show's themes as well as character development. The main cast members ( Not just the secret agent man ) have stories of their own, are integral to the plot not 2 dimensional back drops as often happens. The show does seem to have borrowed from:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089901/?ref_=nv_sr_1Good dialog and over the top action--remember this is a comic book. The only part I was lost on was the sending of an encrypted e- mail to the hospital to get an ambulance to pick up the rescued hostage. Is there a secret agent doctor or nurse in future episodes ?In the love between a man and a man Dr_Sagan is the woman.

¡¡¡Spoiler Alert!!! Seriously, the first 10 seconds of this thing are enough to realize that it isn't worth watching. Super tough Aryan guy is being tortured by brown guy. Tough guy has a smirk on his face like he's having fun. That's all it took for me to turn it off. This was obviously written by dorks who do nothing but watch crappy movies so everything they write is a lousy pastiche of the last ten crappy movies they sat through. Sorry, dorks, but I'm not sitting through this. Violence without consequences is just stupid and not entertaining in the least, at least not for anyone over about nine years old.I can't believe that some have called this "action-packed." More like packed with dung and filler and the most clichéd action sequences that have ever been put on film. It's like watching a really bad SNL skit about a secret agent except this isn't funny and takes itself seriously.

Jesus Christ! What the h3ll is that sh1t? Thank god I have a lot of experience in films, movies, series, short films etc.I needed just 5 minutes to hate it! Pilot was enough; and not even full of it!First of all in the beginning he struggles the one man and the other one waits for what? Oh, yes to be killed! Excuse me that there is no chance this happen in real life! Then he goes in an elevator going up! Blinking the eye to two gays! And after killing the first two, then he shots that bald guy on the left arm and he passes out! Then he wakes up, they fight and the blood goes to the right arm! Jesus!I want to scream aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh! Please don't let them make crap like these, ever again please, please, please. Normally I wouldn't even bother write a review, but i preferred that than breaking my computer!

I have only seen the first five episodes. I don't think I will see any more. I like the action and acknowledge that they try to have strong female characters. But with the exception of Sharon Stone's character they seem to fail miserably at it.All other females is sexy and portrayed as strong, independent and having fought to survive earlier on in life. But they always have to be rescued by agent X at the end. Even the "evil" females is just misunderstood or have a bad past and agent X will save them also. At the same time most "evil" men in the series is just evil and do their thing because of greed or power.I want a series to pull me in. But the portrayal of females in this series is nigher believable or realistic. That way the series fail to make me believe and stay interested.
