Reviews

StunnaKrypto Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Fulke Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
ecanarensis I loved this series. It's too bad it got canceled after 13 episodes...but not surprising. It's too smart, with good acting, great (not cardboard) characters, nice SF elements, good writing. Not a cheapo "reality"trash-fest, so of course the network had to cancel it...not drecky enough. (Of course, the eye candy of Karl Urban, Micheal Ealy doesn't hurt). The terrific Lili Taylor is great as the police captain.
Shanley I watched all 13 episodes. Great story and characters. Each episode was another to capture your attention and wonder. Would be great to see more episodes. It was created in a interesting setting and with a well made plot to go with it. The world with overflowing new tech creates a whole world of different crime from reality, it keeps things interesting. Did Fox really cancel this so the Kardashians could have more screen time? That doesn't sound right at all. Should definitely bring it back. There may be shows in the past that I loved more, but I definitely would say this is well worth watching. It is far more intriguing than the Kardashians arguing all the time. Almost Human made it to the TV here and I'm so glad it did. It is worth watching even if it stays a cancelled TV show.
Shopaholic35 I actually really enjoy this show. The first episode was a little so-so but every episode since has greatly improved which has turned it into a solid show. Unfortunately as they cancelled this show after only one season it's time will be short-lived. I would still recommend viewers watch it though as it has a great premise, talented actors and has the excitement factor.Almost Human is set in a robotic future with plenty of cool Sci-Fi gadgets frequently used. So it's perfect for any tech geeks. One thing that could be a plus or minus is the lack of romantic relationships. Luckily they explore personal dynamics through the bromance between the two main characters which does provide a human backstory. Over time I would have expected this aspect to be developed so people could feel engaged with the characters. It's hard to feel invested but Almost Human is definitely worth watching.
rajatdahiyax "Fringe" producer J.H. Wyman created this sci-fi crime drama set in the year 2048, when John Kennex (Karl Urban), a veteran Los Angeles detective with mental and physical baggage, returns to the force, but struggles to adjust to the mandate that requires human officers to be paired with robots. Fortunately for Kennex's psyche not to mention his well-being he's eventually partnered with one called Dorian (Michael Ealy), an older model of android that's capable of expressing emotions, which will make all the difference in the world as they depend on each other to battle terrorists, drug rings and cyber-criminals in all corners of the city. Series regulars include Minka Kelly, Mackenzie Crook, Michael Irby and Lili Taylor, and John Larroquette guest stars as a brilliant but slightly off-killer robocist.
