What a fun show! Yacko, Wacko and Dock are off the hook funny and truly zany to the max! This show is lit even to this day and as a viewer in these troubled times it is good to find myself smiling and rubbing my belly with a big belly laugh!!!!! What good old fashioned yukks, not like the "political" humor of Daily Show et all. Wicked themes have their place but not in a funny cartoon! And there's even some heart-felt segments like the ones with the candle or that sweet gold wrapping paper that have no jokes at all. Thanks Stephan Spielberg for making such an evergreen humor gem. Spoiler alert: you'll laugh your sokks off!Hello, nurse!!!!Tim C.

9/28/17. Before I watched this series I never knew that it was an Ambling Production, a Steven Spielberg production. I never thought I would finish these 99 episodes, but it went fast! This cartoon series is timeless in its humor and I enjoyed the subtle references to political climate at the time. My best episode is the "Brain's Apprentice." This is a great series for children and adults alike! And,you really can watch it over and over again. Great music parodies to boot!

Nowadays, this show is losing all of the population, and it's turning out to be a forgettable and kind of stupid. The three Warner siblings are so annoying and childish, the jokes does not make any sense, the other characters are just as bogus, and sometimes it has some mean- spirited senses of humor. The animation isn't terrible, but it's not very good either, it's more like the botched up 1930's sitcoms with tawdry colors, and weird voice-acting. The music is also pretty cheesy as well, it has no real music and the parodies are sometimes unfunny or irritating. I would avoid Animaniacs nowadays, if I were you. Watch a better show like Rugrats, Dinosaurs, and The Proud Family, Animaniacs is one of those shows you should stay away.

Smug and condescending-yes, that's it. That's how I'd describe Animaniacs, an oh so jolly on the surface cartoon that doesn't hide its mean spiritedness very well. The main characters, Dot,Yakko and Wacko deliver one liners in rapid succession and on the surface, it all seems very merry and very innocent. Stand back, though, and really pay attention to what's going on in these shorts, and you'll be surprised at the contempt shown towards the show's target audience. Other reviewers have opined that the series is not just for kids. I'd say the series was designed for its writers and producers, who probably think they've created a cartoon for the ages. I don't think so.
