SmugKitZine Tied for the best movie I have ever seen

Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
dji0001 Real off-duty LAPD officers are required by statute to work security for TV shows film on city streets and for which traffic control might be necessary. I worked as LAPD security for most of this series and was even granted a waiver for one episode when I had a two-line conversation with LaWanda Page. The actors were out-of-control. One day we were having lunch on the set when one of the other cops noted the actors and one of the yellow Chevy Novas was missing. The real cops all jumped on their motorcycles and began searching for the car. We found it a few blocks away as the actors were driving around, running the red "bubble gum" police light and pulling civilians over.
Paul-308 This series only lasted a couple weeks on ABC.I think it was a knock off of Dukes Of Hazzard.Instead of their 69 Charger, the BAD CATS had a late 60s Chevy Nova (must have used 3 different ones at least)that was totally thrashed in the 2 hour debut movie.Lots of jumps, and car chases (one with a hearse),but lousy acting and plot.Michelle Pffiefer was on the show, with a phoney southern accent.Good action music and stunts, but not much else.Jimmy Walker played a car thief, thats kinda funny,as when he was on CANNON,a William Conrad starred crime-show, he had quite a few outtakes,as he couldn't drive a car. Will this show ever make DVD? Probably not,not at least until every other program gets to DVD,and then they may HAVE to with nothing else to offer.
