ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
Phillida Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Staci Frederick Blistering performances.
obiwanjacobi-51571 Simply one of the best scripted and best acted television shows to ever air on basic cable. The amount of passion put on display both from the writers and the cast put viewers into a spellbound experience in which nothing else matters in the runtime of each episode. While it was one of the most depressing things to hear when the final season was announced, the team made a remarkably strong and good decision to end it on their own terms and preserve the story and everything that made it so damn good. I think above all, the chemistry displayed by the core cast and the angst of everyday life in this wonderfully dark world will haunt the viewer in the best way possible. Lastly I feel so appreciative that I experienced this show while growing as a person through my 20s and it will forever hold one of the most dearest places in my heart for everything that it was. Yeah it really did that for me lol Thank you with everything I have to the cast and crew behind this gem.
kenankenny I love it ............... I really love it Only reason I stop watching is Sally ....I am so sorry.............That girl is kill the perfect show.I was still watching with hate to Sally. BloodFueledCadaver Only a short review.Bad ending for Aidan. Somebody in his position would be going nowhere. That's what the beauty of vampirism is supposed to be in my opinion: If a vampire is reckless and dies a true death, then they're done. The fact that he got to live for a small amount of time due to draining energy from a soul should not mean he gets to sit on a cloud and play a harp. Just bad writing in the hope of getting all watchers to smile about how great everything turned out in the end. Abhorrent. As for Josh and Nora, their ending was utterly predictable and I haven't anything more to say about them.Still, the show up until the end of the third series was good. Shame they had to ruin the whole thing. I feel they could have done something very good with the final series. Something that has always annoyed me about the show though, is the excessive use of music. My overall rating of the series is a 6.6. Not bad, but wasted potential.(I posted this review on another website as well, although this one has edits.)
Carma Simonsen I give it 10 stars because it is perfection in the art of storytelling. I am an American viewer, and I prefer the American cast. Let me first say that if you are like me, you haven't watched Twilight saga or True Blood and generally you feel sick of vampires at the mere mention. That said, what made me tune in to Being Human? I saw the ad on a city bus and it struck my curiosity. I looked into it and loved the premise - modern roommates, cursed in 3 different ways, all trying to be normal. I watched the pilot and fell in love. This series has been at the top of my list since. I can't wait for it to start again, and it kills me when a season ends - always a great cliffhanger!I adore the werewolf, Josh. I sympathize with Aiden, the vampire. And Sally, well, Sally is just irresistible fun! Nora is also a great character and actress ... sincerely, I give this series 10 stars because for me (and I am quite picky about storytelling practices) - this series is FLAWLESS. Perfectly written, which above all is a must. Perfectly cast. Perfect performances each week. Fabulous direction, editing. And the makeup artists and CGI artists are cream of the crop!Being Human makes me look forward to Mondays!
