Purely Joyful Movie!

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

I may be bias towards this show but I have great reason to be. Since being a kid I've grown up with this comic gem and no matter how many times I watch it, it never gets old or boring to me. Rik and Ade's chemistry and genius cannot be matched or replicated, this show is a one off in a lot of senses. Both of their over the top violence and scheming is just off the wall! Lol. It's the kind of show that can rerun scenes in your mind throughout the day and brighten up a dull one! A true one off, comic gem stamp, in English T.V. Comedy history! And of course, I totally recommend it :-) Also, if you watch this and like it, check out the live shows! They're more rude, crude and completely insane! :-P

Brilliant and anarchic humour and can be watched time and time again - real cartoon style sitcom with a touch of the outrageous. While it may not be to everyone's taste, but if you like this sort of humour, well then this is of the highest quality with all the madness that the two lads always bring to their roles. Great series, and their spin off film likewise was completely madcap in every way with laughs all the way through. The Tom and Jerry style cartoon violence to each other is so well done when they get going hitting each other and all done in terms of a stage setting so some credit to the the sets. Two lads are were a great comedy partnership and one well missed......

To sum it up simply, it's basically non-stop innuendo and toilet humour, now on with the details. It often gets compared to "The Young Ones" because it's got Rik and Ade in it and it's more or less the same kind of humour except the dick and fart jokes are cruder and much more frequent.Anyway it's about two unemployed losers who see themselves as really clever and as a result, they get themselves into all sorts of bother. The jokes are mostly really funny, the humour is VERY crude, it's the kind of thing that teenage boys would love and the slapstick violence is hilarious and the really fake-looking special effects add to the humour. The only downfall is that the sexual innuendos are a bit too frequent and can get a bit tedious at times. So, Would I recommend it? Yes for people in need of something crude and childishly funny. If you thought the jokes in The Young Ones were distasteful, then you wouldn't like this and I wouldn't recommend it to your nan.

Richard Richard and Edward Hitler...ahhh...I love everything these guys do. Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson is the most violent, fun comedy act around.I'd go as far as saying that this duo is as equal revolutionary as Monty Python. It's really not easy comparing this...all I can think of is The Young Ones(another show by Edmondson and Mayall).Expect your typical in-your face British humor with a dose of Python meeting Ren and Stimpy. Watch these sad old roommate gits,Richie - always trying to score with some bird and using horrible pick-up lines and Ed Hitler, drunken looser. They seem to always beat up each other silly...and and...now just go and watch it..you bastard!
