Mattias is obsessed with the idea of being life eternal trip. His shop is astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon. Neither Mattias parents, the girlfriend nor the best friend Jørn fully managed to accept this philosophy of life, and it is not better for the fact that Mattias probably has the biggest singing voice Norway has ever not heard.

Mattias do not attract attention, despite his amazing singing voice. It is not easy, as parents, girlfriend, friends and surroundings expect something more. Mattias has been persuaded to travel to the Faroe Islands, where Jørns band will play a concert.

The factory in Gjøgv is threatened with closure. There are indications that Havstein treatment program may not have the effect it should have, and that it possibly is so Havstein need its residents at least as much as they need him. Mattias trying to find out who Carl is, the American who one night shows up in a lifeboat without apparent prehistory.
