AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
Inclubabu Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.
GetPapa Far from Perfect, Far from Terrible
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Mister Gorys This show wasn't bad but at the same time wasn't very good. Some decent acting can't save it from some bad writing and jokes, and the stories just got old and annoying far too often. Even for a kids show this wasn't a very good series that could keep anyone's interest for too long. 4 in 10.
Eleventyfour Now first, let me just say that I am usually quite easy to please when it comes to television, and even if a show is just barely funny enough to make me giggle a time or two, I'll probably say that I'll like it.But The Latest Buzz? Is just another messy, slapped-together disastrous attempt at a sitcom. The premise: The Latest Buzz is a show about a group of teenagers who work on a struggling magazine called Teen BUZZ. They apparently replaced some other workers in favor of real teens. While this is unrealistic in itself, I'll let it slide -- I mean, it's a TV show. In the real world, Superman wouldn't fly.I honestly believe that the show would be much better if it lacked a laugh track. The laughs feels tacked-on and uses the same laughs over and over, even more so than other, usually Disney sitcoms (Zack and Cody -- both of their shows -- and Waverly Place come to mind here). The Latest Buzz would have a Zoey 101 feel and would not feel so idiotically 'PLEASE LAUGH UPROARIOUSLY AT THAT LITTLE QUIP I JUST MADE' if it ditched the laugh track. Unfortunately, it's much too late to turn back now.Onto the characters. Every single one of them has a specific, forced and stereotypical personality. The happy, intelligent one, the celebrity-stalking, fashion-obsessed, 'I'm obviously gay but have to hide it because this is a show aimed at kids with conservative soccer moms!' one, the 'rebel' (and I'm being generous in using that term), the stuck-up, rich Veronica Lodge type, and last but not least, the unrealistic gamer. Again, forcedforcedforced. If the characters were the least bit relatable, I'd probably like this show more. But no. All the characters cater to the people of the respective stereotypes in a desperate attempt to draw all kinds to the show, but they have no character for the rest of us -- the 'none of the above' character. Where's THAT one?And don't get me started on the acting. During one foodfight scene that was apparently supposed to be angry, I remember seeing the girls laughing. Normally I'd pull the 'they're just kids' card, but they're not kids -- they're teenagers, whom of which are creatures blessed with the ability of keeping a stony expression typically reserved for lying to parents. As of such, they're probably capable at pulling a straight face for a minute or so. I've seen toddlers that could act better than this crew. (Also, the girl who plays Amanda needs to stop forcing her lines and trying so hard.)I really don't have much to build my review off of, as this show is like eating jalapeños -- better in small doses and being unable to tolerate too much at once. I only watched a whole episode once -- and I had to force myself to -- and the plot itself was quite generic and much too predictable. Also, the sad attempts at weaving romance into the already-messy plot lines just made me facepalm quite a bit. To sum it all up: this show is a mess. Sloppy writing, unrelatable characters, bad acting -- this show is the mulligan's stew of all bad sitcoms and I wouldn't recommend it at all for those older than 13 or so. 2/10.
smithysunshine Latest Buzz is my new favorite show! My friends and I all love it and think its different than all the other shows out there for kids. The stories are hilarious, the fact the kids get to work in this cool magazine is so awesome, and I love the relationships between the characters. I don't get all the comments about the laugh track that some people are saying. Hannah Montana and Zack and Cody have laughs after every line and I don't think those shows are anywhere near as good as Buzz. This show is great!! The dialog is smart, the acting is good (especially for such young actors who LOOK the right age!) and the Buzz office looks amazing. I'm waiting for new episodes and watching stuff on YouTube in the meantime!
anjali This show 'The latest buzz' is aired on Disney channel in India. in started somewhere in February. unfortunately i missed some of the episodes and then one day i watched its episode.that first episode i saw was 'The date issue'. Rebbecca have to work on the first date issue for her column 'in so many words'. Noah tried to help her. that was their first 'homework date'. i simply loved that episode. since then i am watching all its episodes. All the teenagers Zoe,Justin,Munro,Demetrius and Vanessa are doing good job on the show. this show has new storyline and concept. DJ and Mr S are also providing really good motivation to these teens for their magazine. Chemistry between DJ & Mr. S is rocking too.in India all 13 episodes of first season already aired and now they are showing repeat telecasts only. I am so eagerly waiting for the second season now. simply its rocking show. i think not only teens, viewers of all age can enjoy this show.
