This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place

Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

This show wasn't bad much the same way vanilla isn't bad. This was a generic sitcom that depended on the leads being cavemen, but really didn't exploit that angle. The writers played it very safe here. I guess I was expecting a fish out of water type comedy with these guys trying to adapt to the modern world. Instead it was just some 20-somethings with lots of hair. I didn't watch most of the episodes but I don't think there was a back story for these guys. The reason I'm disappointed is that they really could done something interesting here and instead we got the most bland writing possible, not bad just boring. Look to Phil Hartman for inspiration.

I was looking forward to Cavemen since it was announced for ABC's fall schedule. I like the characters, Joel, Andy & Nick. I was assuming the character from The Geico commercials would be the star of the show and was a little disappointed that the show did not focus on him. However, he appears as the 4th friend from time to time. In actuality, I think Nick is the better, or should I say, more sarcastic of the bunch. Once you get into the show, they seem to be just like characters on any other sitcom. I do wonder how they can afford the rent on what appears to be quite a posh apartment. Seeing as Joel is the only roommate with a real job, while brother Andy and roommate Nick sit at home all day makes it a little unrealistic. Then again, that could be part of the show creator's intent. Ah but as with any new show I tend to like, they seem to disappear. I hope it's only on hiatus because of the Holidays and Writer's strike and that it will be back soon.

I was a big fan of the commercials when they aired on TV and was pretty shocked that they decided to make a show based upon them. I mean, there have been many commercials that were funnier than those, but they never made a TV show based on any of them, such as a Geico Gecko TV show! I usually don't watch too much TV in the evenings besides sports. It is not that I don't enjoy all of the shows that are on, but they are all the same, and I cannot possibly keep up with all of them. But I was actually intrigued when they advertised that Cavemen was going to be a part of the Tuesday lineup.I will be the first to say that it is not laugh out loud hysterical humor that was prevalent in say Friends, Seinfeld, or King of the Hill. But that is why I think I enjoy it so much. It is different. There is no laugh track. The lighting is that of a drama show. And the plot is so out there that it actually really works well. I mean, just the idea of 3 cavemen living together in the modern world is just hilarious. The three characters are all different and they mesh so well.If you are a fan of things that are different and not of the norm, then give this show a try. I bet you will become a fan.

Every new fall line-up show deserves, at least, my "3 strikes and you're out" policy. I give a comedy 3 chances to make me laugh, that is, 3 complete episodes. After Episode 1, I actually said to the TV,"Cancelled tomorrow". It was that bad. I have now watched the first 4 episodes of "Cavemen" and have yet to manage even a smirk. Not a titter, a guffaw, a chortle, as a matter of fact, no facial movement at all. I will continue to punish myself by watching every future episode because I am convinced that I am clearly missing something in this show. I'm simply not "getting" it, but I believe that a comedy on a major TV network in prime-time, just HAS to be funny; but there are no laughs from me YET. There's just no way that ABC would put on the least funniest comedy of all time at 8:00 p.m. I KNOW there has got to be an inside joke that just isn't jiving with my brain. I've read each of the previous comments, I "get" the social aspect of it, but, WHERE ARE THE JOKES ???? I shall continue suffering for at least 30 minutes a week, until I have a light-bulb moment and smack myself in the head shouting "Eureka".
