Excellent, a Must See

After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

The "people" in this "reality" show get no pity because they are such blatantly pathetic, self-centered, ignorant white trash. These non-actors make the oh so obviously staged and scripted "reality" moments so excruciatingly bad, sad, embarrassingly low-brow, and narcissistic. But my sympathy goes out to the people that watch this garbage and see it as entertainment (which allows morons like this family to become faux celebrities). Perhaps they need to increase their dosage, or seek a more competent psychotherapist. Shows like this are simply a reflection of the people that watch them. People that enjoy the humiliation of others and have nothing better to do with their time than to laugh at others willing to do anything to get fame and fortune (even though that is an illusion for shows like this). But the "reality" is, there will always be people wallowing in the gutter, making and watching shows like this, feeling a sense of empowerment because they are not allow in the muck.

I hadn't seen the show lately, so I was concerned that It was no longer airing. I'm not into reality shows; this is the only one I watch! I find Todd very amusing. I don't believe, as one reviewer stated, that anyone is attempting to tell anyone else how to live. They're just showing us how THEY live. Honestly, I would have no objection to being a self-made millionaire! Todd is quick-witted and you never know what he's going to say. I'm that same type of person, not always politically correct, and not caring. Julie is perfect for Todd. Not every woman could put up with his need to control everything! The kids are direct opposites. They hate the role that Todd plays in their lives. They want to make their own decisions without interference from Todd. That would be fine if Todd were not bank rolling their entire existence. Give back the cars, pay rent, and then maybe w can talk.

Obviously everyone has a right to their own opinion but the negatives on this list are obviously watching the show or they wouldn't have ANY opinion at all. Reality shows are made for entertainment only and this in my opinion is one of the funniest and entertaining reality shows on TV today (unlike the Kardashes!!). It's not made to be taken seriously, it's made to be funny and although it's obvious that this family loves one another, Todd has some of the greatest and funniest comeback lines I have ever heard. No, I'm not stupid nor do I sit and watch TV all day and I have a Masters degree and don't have a lot of time to watch many shows but this one is my all time favorite because it makes me laugh throughout the whole show and it's just the kind of comedy I enjoy seeing after a hard day at the office. My husband hates reality shows unless it's national geographic or I.D. or something along those lines although he doesn't sit and watch it with me (he's a musician and is usually in the studio) he'll hear something that Todd says and chuckle every now and then. Kudos to the Chrissley's for putting a smile on my face and giving me one liners to remember while sitting in a meeting at work and listening to someone nit-pick about someone or something that has nothing to do with what the meeting was intended for. Also, Todd and Julie don't let their children walk all over them. They have great family values and do not have spoiled, bratty kids. GOD BLESS ALL OF THEM- TODD, YOUR MAMA RAISED YOU RIGHT. AND SHE'S GREAT TOO!!!

This is another reality show that is not total reality. Still, I find "Chrisley Knows Best" an entertaining show in a lighthearted way. Honestly, I can't tell you how many times i have laughed at Chrisley and his reactions to various family situations. He has moments where he is hilarious - facial expressions and quick comebacks, especially. I am from the South and find the family totally relatable. Their accents, expressions, food, family togetherness, etc., are quite familiar. Each family member brings something interesting to the show and it makes for an entertaining show as a whole. Also, I appreciate the fact that this show is a reality show that does not shock you with their family values.
