Reviews

BroadcastChic Excellent, a Must See
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Lachlan Coulson This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.
Keith Rice The main character, Chuck, is a cute but entirely insipid buffoon who gets to make trite statements like "I don't like guns" and "The most important thing to me is family" numerous times in every episode. Apparently he's a comedian whose schtick is acting like an 8th grader. His "partner", Sarah, is an attractive highly trained CIA assassin who is officially Chuck's handler with a standard cover of being his girlfriend and of course, hijinks ensue ... exactly copying every teen angst romance you've ever seen.Chuck's best friend is Morgan, the comic relief whose schtick is acting like a 6th grader. In his hours of facetime throughout the series this character is interesting for about 5 minutes. Two or three more buffoons make regular appearances as well as a host of more serious characters creating a strange brew that can be easily followed while simultaneously playing Mah Jong or some such. The concept, however, remains intriguing and as much as 50% of the dialog isn't a complete insult to my intelligence. While I don't smoke, I would recommend copious amounts of marijuana (where legal) in order to better facilitate the willful suspension of disbelief ... or if you're really serious about enjoying this, a lobotomy might be helpful as well.
billskoutelias All about this show are perfect!Great idea/plot!Great characters and performances!Great action and chemistry!Very funny!I personally don't even care about the few "weaknesses", like the special effects, because it doesn't matter...!
emmanly Sucks that it got cut short but this show is possibly the grand prize of them all. Action, romance, drama, humor, it's got it all. Fairly clean. Always awesome.
alreadyseenbeentaken It's 2018 and i binge watched the 5 seasons over the last few weeks. I made it through all the cringy/embarrassing, annoying, stupid and creepy moments because the show wasn't that bad in spite of all. But the main reason you would watch it is because of the dynamic of the team (great and funny Adam Baldwin), and especially because of the romance between Sarah and Chuck. Zachary Levi and the super hot, cute, wonderful, gorgeous Yvonne Strahovski really carry the show. It was a mixture of ALIAS and Mr.&Mrs. Smith with more comedy and cringy dialogs and characters. And it developed great over the five seasons and especially in the 4th season. It all steered into a big happy end. But then i watched the last 3 episodes, and not only did they make all the episodes before obsolete, no, they ruined the happy end. The "Friends" story, lost. The family story, lost. The love story, lost. I've seen a lot of show, but never seen a worse show ending. They tried with the last scene, but the magic was destroyed. No house, no baby, no real happy end. A really bad job by the writers. All the adventures that formed that bond and trust are forgotten. The only silver lining is the idea that Sarah now can have a normal life without baggage. But this feeling of relieve i had when watching ALIAS wasn't there. As someone who empathizes with the characters and is pleased by their happiness, i had mixed feelings about the end. So watch at your own risk!
