The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.

I enjoyed the first 3 seasons, at least up until snide remarks about our President. Also, I watched another crime show where Kelly gave Trey Gowdy a hard time about turning over evidence. It was obvious Kelly was holding, kept repeating she turned over what was required. BAD KARMA. Anyway, this show has lost my

If these two have actually done this work, they know damned well that a cold case is worked for months or years, not a week. To then take credit for whatever happens with the case rather than giving credit to the people that are actually assigned to work a case is really shameless. It reminds me of this idiot president, who cannot stop talking about himself.I pray that juries and voters will not start to think that you can work a cold case for a week and have it ready to present to a grand jury for consideration. It frequently takes a week to make photocopies.

I am a huge fan of this show. Learning about each case and the way they move through the information to consider every angle is interesting. But what I find most intriguing is the psychology of everyone from the victim's families, to the detective and police offers working the case, to the suspects and of course Siegler and McClary. In this show you see law enforcement officials who really care about their community. You see the way they interact with both suspects and victim's family. You see suspects and informants that gives clues to the crime and their own complex psychology. In the last episode I saw, a man talked about how he was offered money to kill someone else. He said that if it wasn't for the fact that he was in jail that night instead, he would have killed that person. He said he was really glad he was in jail that night. And I just thought that was so interesting in terms of the choices we make at different parts of our lives and how we have the ability to change. In a day and age where Desperate Housewives with celebrity blood lust and too much money let their immature behavior reign, this is a much needed reprieve from the kind of women we see crowding TV. I'm tired of seeing women who behave badly. I am tired of the obsession with everything Kradashian. I'm tired of shows like Bridezilla and the Bachelor where women act catty, shallow and selfish. This show shows two women who are nothing but genuine in their quest for justice and to help people. Despite how other posters reviewed the ladies, I don't think they are smug at all. I find them kind, sensitive, intelligent..truly good examples of women, for women. I don't need to see lots of blood and chase scenes and gore to find something to have value. People always complain about how reality TV isn't "real". I think this is pretty darn close to being pretty real.

Give me a car chase! Guns! Fast pace pursuits through dark woods! and most importantly.. BLOOD! O_OWhat is really important, that the show isn't fast pace/doesn't get your blood pumping/not enough drama, or the fact that these guys are giving an effort to catch killers that are currently running free?Seriously though, even if they spend an entire season to catch JUST ONE murderer that is running free, isn't that worth it?! Also, not to mention the emotional comfort that a, "hey, your loved ones hasn't been forgotten," gives to families affected by these horrible crimes.True, not all of the cases are open-shut.. BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN COLD FOR YEARS! This is all currently happening! in real time! There is no "2 Years Later" transition effect! What this show does is put that spotlight right back where it should be.I seriously doubt any of the people sitting behind a computer criticizing these efforts can say,"I put a killer behind bars, and finally brought a long awaited resolution to a family that had lost hope." Maybe some could say,"I saved a dog from eating chocolate!" or "I stopped a baby from swallowing a lego piece once!" Which, cool, really, both scenarios would have me totally pumped. I personally saved my turtle when I was 7.. he had climbed out of his tank and taken refuge under our mini fridge! Lost for DAYS.. He was so dehydrated an malnourished when I found him.. :( but I never gave up looking for him! :D Still though.. not as cool as catching someone that brutally murders people.. :/I really hope this show gets the recognition it deserves.. some people should really reevaluate what they value as "good TV".
