Synopsis

Container Wars is an American reality television series on TruTV that premiered in 2013. The show features the auctioneer John Kunkle, as well as buyers: Jason R. Hughes, the Israeli team consisting of Shlomi, Eyal & Uzi, the team of Ty & Mo, Deane Molle', and Matthew Gaus. Unlike any other auction show of its kind, “Container Wars”, takes auctions to an all-new level with big money, high stakes, and giant egos. Taking place at commercial shipping ports, the series centers on a group of experts from various backgrounds who spend tens of thousands to compete for the contents of high dollar shipping containers from around the world. With only minutes to assess the containers and decide whether to bid, the pressure mounts as they walk away with big wins or go home empty handed.

Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Janis One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
Francene Odetta It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
nikolaibg Lets start with that i have watch most of this type of shows and i need to be honest . this is the worst . Yes most are fake but this one is fake of the fakes .most of this type of shows use real pawn shop owners which give it a bit sort of realism, but this one use actors .the setting is awful (between containers and working environment o yea they definitely gone do auction there )the reactions of the actors is very fake , the script it awful, did i say the containers are terrible ? you can watch this kind of shows for education purpose like trivia learn something new with every episode about something you wont expect , not here . this show is total brain killer and need to be stopped because is insult to the viewers
CherryBlossomBoy ...in a short second. First let me commend this show for having the most entertaining bunch of auctioneers of all the competing shows around. I don't care whether it's totally or partially fake or not fake at all. The sums they bid are huge and exciting, and they really seem to pour their hearts in it. Funny and engaging and, frankly, better than most movies nowadays. And now the note to whom it may concern:STOP BLEEPING OUT THE BLOODY SWEARING!!!You're killing me with those damn 1000 Hz bleeps! So what if those people swear a lot? That's their way of expressing. Do you realize you're making it worse with bleeps? Either figure out another way to censor the stuff out, if you must, or leave it as it is - authentic and lively, and get rid of the bleeps! This way you're only PUNISHING the loyal viewer and I don't think prudes really appreciate it anyway. Bleeps probably hurt their ears too.For that matter, screw you, screw the FCC, and screw documentary channels! Damn bleep-fests they've become!
barry marsh My rating is high only and only because of the entertainment factor. As far as reality anyone one can deduce its phony. The containers is not being opened for the first time. This can be seen by a few factors. #1 there is no seal#2 All the locks are the same whether the the container originates in China, Texas or even Saturn. To make it look otherwise the locks are made dirty and rusty looking. Padlocks don't rust like that over the short period of time the container sits at the port. I guess the production company got a bulk deal on the locks from Home Depot.Other than these facts its still fun to watch.Oh yes one more thing, not too many companies (unless the government) is going to send a container to Texas from California via the Panama Canal!
