EP1 Pilot Aug 25, 1992

King Edward requests that an alliance be forged between the Grey and Mullens families by the marriage of Eleanor to Mullens' village-plundering son Henry, and Eleanor seemingly has no choice but to run away from home to avoid going though with the arrangement. Meanwhile, the visiting trade representative from France turns out to be a woman.

EP2 Armus Returns Sep 19, 1992

Sir Thomas' son, Armus, returns from 8 years at the Crusades and the Greys journey to the Duke of Arondale's castle to pay their taxes, but there they are attacked by a group of bandits and held hostage along with Mullens and his daughter.

EP3 Outlaws Sep 26, 1992

Eleanor is smitten with a handsome thief after she encounters him seemingly robbing from the rich to give to the poor. Meanwhile, Richard and Armus offer to train Cedric for an upcoming tournament in order to make sure that he will lose and thus become discouraged about becoming a knight and resume his path to a monastic life.

EP4 Cedric Hits the Road Oct 03, 1992

Cedric is waylaid while on an errand for Sir Thomas, negotiations founder with the Duke of Worringer, and Sir Thomas and Elizabeth encounter problems in their relationship.

EP5 The Hero Oct 10, 1992

Armus helps his old friend Humphrey, now a petty thief, stop an assassination attempt. Meanwhile Cedric runs into problems at a convent while recuperating from a snakebite, and Sir Thomas must entertain Elizabeth's boring son and daughter at the castle.

EP6 Blinded Passions Oct 24, 1992

A bumbling student knight decides to become Eleanor's protector, and Mullens hatches another plot against the Greys. Meanwhile, the sister of Sir Thomas's late wife Anne comes to visit and looks enough like her to sweep Sir Thomas off his feet and endanger his relationship with Elizabeth.

EP7 The Persecution Oct 31, 1992

Richard is enchanted by a lovely young woman who is being accused of witchcraft and hunted down by an evil Abbott. Meanwhile, the Friar announces that he wishes to leave Sir Thomas's service.

EP8 Eviction Jan 01, 0001

Mullens uses a French actor to hatch another plot against the Greys to ruin them once and for all. Meanwhile, the children get a taste of the hard life outisde of their castle, and Richard finds new meaning in friendship.

EP9 The Trial Jan 01, 0001

One of Britain's great war heroes, Lord Trenton, mentor to Sir Thomas and Mullens, returns to recruit young warriors. A peasant in Thomas's service lies in the wake of Lord Trenton's sinister doings and stands accused of murder.

EP10 The Plague Jan 01, 0001

Cedric is enchanted by a peasant woman and three orphans, all stricken with the plague. Against his family's wishes, Cedric risks his life to help them, brining up painful memotries of his mother's death at the hands of the illness.

EP11 Revenge Jan 01, 0001

Armus has been haunted by nightmares since his return from the Crusades. The brother of the Saracen he killed in battle comes to haunt him. Meanwhile, colorful love letters fly about the castle, involving Richard, Cedric and a beautiful serving girl.

EP12 Celebration Jan 01, 0001

A rich young ward, Hope, finds her way into the favor of Armus and the rest of the Grey siblings. Hope has run away from her cruel guardians and finds solace in a lowly woodcutter. Meanwhile, Thomas is to be knighted into the Order of the Garter and must reconcile his duty to the ""needy and oppressed, be they low-born or high.""

EP13 Brothers Jan 01, 0001

A peace negotiation between Lord Wyatt and Thomas Grey ends up in a swordfight and Richard on the table, bargaining business with Lord Wyatt. Charlotte, Wyatt's daughter, who has caught Armus's eye, falls in love with Richard instead.

The program also aired in the United Kingdom and was scheduled to be broadcast in France. The series was filmed and produced in the UK, by a British production company, but it was ultimately accountable to an American network.

Sci-FiFreak73 I really liked CC show aired in our TV during early 90s.Covington Cross is a show a little similar to current BBC Merlin.It is a set or medieval stories with a modern point of view, of course without special effects and magic.Costumes are perfect, show is full of intelligent humor and fun.The most important message for watchers is: difficult but always honest decisions will bring happiness.I regret its early cancellation.I hope someone will remake this wonderful show one day.Where can i get this show these days? I want to see it again after years.I searched on Amazon but show is not available for order.
hgrant It was only 6 shows but it has held many of our hearts for years. I really feel it lives on in spirit because it has that universal spark that all great shows have. It touched our human spirit, made us laugh and cry. OK mostly laugh, but with it not at it. I think it could have been truly great if the characters could have continued to develop and flesh out over several seasons. It's only fault was that it didn't have enough time.The main premise was daring. A weekly drama set in the middle ages. I mean come on how original is that... I know that Gil Grant has been quoted as thinking Bonanza for the middle ages. But hey Bonanza had that same universal appeal because some basic human needs, wants, desires and, problems with the attainment of such, are so transcendent of time and place. Think Shakespere and the fact there are only 10 story lines the rest is just variations on those ten. There were some rough moments. Moments when the characters didn't have their "gel" down yet. But, you could tell they were having fun. They were professional. They were ready to bring this amazing show on. But, they didn't have the time or opportunity to work on not their craft but their bond. Time people. That is all that was lacking... Too bad.
donald-campbell-1 I'm so glad that I taped the series when it aired, It is always a good show to watch again, with the exception of the Robin of Sherwood series there has always been a shortage of good genre drama set in the middle ages. It had some genuinely funny moments with enough drama and fast paced action to keep you interested. I've often heard people refer to the show as the 90210 of the middle ages, i think that its a good description of the show but not in a derogates way of describing it but rather as a complement to the style of the show, if only it had gone as long as 90210. Who ever decided to can this show made a big mistake...
Lore (EventHorizon333) I wasn't lucky enough to have watched this show during it's first run, but I was lucky enough to have been given the entire series from someone, even the ones unaired in the US-I watched all of them in a single day. I couldn't stop- the characters are great, the story lines are fun, they didn't take themselves too seriously, it's loads of fun- but then they did have serious moments as well. I've heard complants about that, but you know- I felt it worked.They had some plot points dangling, which people also hadn't liked at the time, but it was apparent to me that they were planning on some great plot lines that was meant for the second season that never came.It was a short lived show that deserved much more than it got.
