SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
Inclubabu Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.
Kidskycom It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.
Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
Jonathan Cressman This was an incredibly intelligent show. Unfortunately you have to watch all 15 hours of it in order. You can't join in on the second episode because it just wouldn't make sense. Today Netflix could create such a show but back in 2006 there was no way to make this show commercially viable. Great story, great character development and great consistency. Also while the time loop is central to the story, this is very much a detective show. There is a puzzle and other than the time loop there are no special "star trek" moments where the writers just make up some new science to wrap an episode up in the last 5 minutes. Watch the show and be prepared to have to pay close attention.
farilady-1 I truly enjoyed this show... I just watch what I just found out to be the last show and I am very disappointed. It was one of the highlights of my week, getting to watch Day Break... I loved the show and am sorry to see its over.Especially since there are still so many unanswered questions about what was going on.. What about the ex-husband, the crazy guy and the attorney.. There is still so many ways to keep this show going. Why is it they always pull the good shows and leave the rest of the junk on? It would be awesome to see another season come on this year.... I know I would be watching every week.
aerofan897 I started watching this show during the LOST hiatus. Just when I was starting to really get into the storyline, ABC pulled it off the air.Since then, I've watched the rest of the episodes online and I can say the show was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed the ending. I hope that it can be released on DVD so more people can find out about it.The show was created to be a 13-episoded mini series with no following seasons. Because of this, it had a great storyline, good character development, and most importantly: a solid ending! The episodes are available online at ABC.com and can also be found through torrents.
laural9 Yes, this show is complicated and somewhat confusing if you don't pay very close attention... that's the point. It's not going to spoon feed you the plot and it should be praised for that. Each show reveals or resolves a plot point, only to open up and reveal more, but only if you pay very close attention. The casting is fantastic, so many good actors who don't have the most familiar faces. I was very excited to see Mitch Pileggi in the cast, and Taye Diggs has a character he can really explore.THis show has a plot that, so far, shows a well-thought-out idea, with surprising twists that continue the plot, not confuse it. If you like the first season of Lost, you should like Daybreak.Thank you, ABC, for this great show. I suspect you've already canceled it.
