Synopsis

Kevin Pacalioglu may have no money and no clue, but he can see dead people, so that’s pretty cool. Faced with a constant stream of stubborn spirits, Pac goes to whatever lengths require the least amount of effort to help New York City’s most frivolous ghosts finish their unfinished business, occasionally with the help of his best friend and drug dealer, Roofie.

Reviews

Helloturia I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Griff Lees Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Scotty Burke It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
kcvvl The show is a little corny but the more I watched it the more interesting it became. The story is great. It's a fun show to watch and laugh. It brings laughter so it's not a flop. I like it although I'm only in the second season but will continue to watch it. I have seen much worse before. To recap it's a fun little show just not real serious and that's sometimes a good thing. :)
LeoTHolmes This show made me laugh out loud more often than most other comedies I have seen in weeks. The reviewers who believe that any positive reviews of Deadbeat are "fake" have inspired me to post my first review to counter their negative opinions. Deadbeat is silly, sometimes raunchy and non-PC, but it is also extremely funny while still having a (somewhat tarnished) heart of gold. Tyler Labine plays a stoner who can see and hear ghosts and helps them to complete their unfinished business on Earth so that they can move "into the light". Helping the ghosts leads to wacky situations with many heartwarming endings when the ghosts "move on". Other (positive) reviewers have described this show much better than I.
Aktham Tashtush Gosh this show is so hilarious, two seasons have passed so far, each and every episode is filled with laughter and comedy bits ,, the plot is magnificently built and the idea is fresh and well executed ,, the script is indescribably funny .. and what's the deal with all of that James McAvoy thing :D :D popping in the dialogue just like that and somehow being funny :_D The directing of the episodes over the 2 seasons is for different 3 directors which made it look diversified , and same goes for the writing with 5 writers working on the script it's like they're competing each others to make it more funny as much as possible. As for the cast ,, well Tyler Labine is just genius ,, watched him in each and every little series he stared in from "Reaper" to "Sons of Tucson" and "Mad Love" gosh he's always hilarious with that funny chubby bearded silly guy never changes and originality of his comedy never fades... the other characters they were all hilarious , from Roofie to Chamomile spot on performance.the cinematography and the visual effects are also thorough, perfected and synchronized plenary... good job Hulu for this successfully TV Hit project.Overall, you guys gotta watch it like right now before you're even done reading this review.. off you go now ;)
mark_pugh2001 looking for another original to watch at night. Me and the wife came across this show on Hulu. Guy who sees ghosts and comedic ally helps them pass on?? Couldn't pass it up. It is a funny show, can't wait for the next season . It's hard to find a show that both the wife and I can watch together. I guess it takes a special kind of humor to bring us together. Good plot , likable and hate-able characters. Glad we found this show. Latest episode definitely left us wanting more. The situations this guy finds himself in really give a feel of real life, or how things would really be if people like this existed. One of my favorites. Just watch and see.
