Reviews

Ketrivie It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
Yazmin Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
paul-2148 I don't know how this would play if I didn't come from Detroit, but I do, and I love the many references to Detroit culture: Mort Crim, Vernors, Detroit R&B and Soul Music... The entire cast is terrific but Sam Richardson is one of those brilliant comic actors that comes along every once and awhile, like Pryor and Murphy, who have have instinctive comic timing and charm. He's instantly lovable even while his character is displaying less than a admirable behavior. This show has its own quirky pacing and self awareness that makes it distinctly it's own. I hope people discover it. It's a perfect little comic gem.
philipkeene Pretty good Good improv Weird jokes do you know the sad thing you know. Ball to fall don't dance if you don't have pants Pretty good
Ulfman5000 It's not the kind of show where you're going to laugh really hard at anything, but it's the kind of thing where you're laughing the entire time. I find the characters likable, it doesn't rely on being overly offensive, and it's fairly clever. It's something I find myself enjoying consistently. They don't swing for the fences every time. That means it's not going to dazzle, but they don't ever fail. I hope it gets at least 3 seasons.
changeimust-51309 Hi everyone, I just started watching it today. If the comedy of the first 20 minutes of this show which made me laugh is a product of what is to be for the future of this show then you have a WINNER. The comedic writing and actors made me laugh already with anticipation. Episode Sam starts dating (bar scene) my friend always intruded when it came to meeting women. Well done sincerely, Jose G.
