TinsHeadline Touches You
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Winifred The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
Celia A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
sophieoirdi The first episode had the effect of a not strong enough coffee, leaving a frustrating taste on the tongue. As I've seen this happening with other series before, I decided to follow my curiosity and give it a further chance. The second episode was actually better and revealed a connection with characters of the first episode, as in some other anthology series. Then, a few episodes passed by and I recognised the disappointing pattern: beginning, middle and end are all wrapped up in one episode, without even an ounce of drama. If this was a book, or if we wanted to precisely target the writing, this would definitely not be called a page-turner. There is no suspense whatsoever, and no attachment or interest for the characters, who barely have a name. Some plots could have been really interesting to explore more deeply and include more conflict, but the whole thing just felt like some kind of intrusion in someone else's life. You're sitting comfortably watching the show, expecting an incident or dramatic situation, which.. doesn't happen. The way it's filmed - as well as the dialogue - can make you feel like it's a documentary, because of the extreme realness. The dialogue itself sometimes actually suffers from its reality, lacking depth and creativity, as well as allowing one too many times speech patterns such as "humm", "you know", "like". It does no other thing than reminding you that if you chose to watch a fiction show, it's not to face your real life (friends) on screen. I did like on some occasions to see some seemingly improvised scenes and the idea that some lines may have not been scripted, but overall the abundance of it was quite disappointing, especially if it adds no value to the character. The performances delivered were, in my opinion, very good. The genre is quite difficult to identify: it doesn't feel like drama per se, and there is in my opinion no comedic element, apart from maybe 1 or 2 episodes.I would conclude by saying that if one has nothing to watch or has some time to kill, it's not horrible, it flows, but I wouldn't put it in the "worth it" category.
thesandman-886-18472 Now I know why it's called easy it was easy to put together it was easy to get all these people to get down and go easy on each other with countless sex scenes feels like a porno it doesn't even show the real basis of real relationships there's no morality there is no banal give me there's no trust there's no loyalty the creators of the show did a horrible job putting this together I only liked that one scene with the two girls I do a three-way with Orlando bloom or whoever that guy is but this show is terrible it's so slow so boring I don't understand how it even had a season two. All these comedians and no humor.
damianwade My first review on here!!!!! OK straight to it, the only reason I give this even a 3 is because the acting by most of the cast is actually great........the scripts are what killed this for me. These poor people have to waste their awesome talent on this. It is clear that Joe Swanberg promotes open cuckoldry and feminism. Nothing wrong with this......to each his own, except the the theme of his show and the given summary is misleading. Every male character is emasculated in some way or the other. the female characters pretty much dominate their male counterparts psychologically, career wise, sexually and even physically(first episode of season 2). It all seems so unrealistic. We are only ever given a glimpse of 2 alpha males(season 1 "controllada" and season 2 "open marriage") and their sole purpose was to serve as a catalyst to belittle the main male character( the guy one woman cheats with and the guy the other woman uses to "cuck" her husband in an open marriage...... an idea which she clearly planted in him to serve her own agenda). Even Orlando Bloom's character is made to be paired with women whom even if he weren't a movie star, He would still be way out of their league (literally the most laughable episode of them all).Feminists would enjoy this series, mass audience......not so much. I'd be surprised if this gets renewed.
Radbeh Ravaz I think this is one of the greatest Netflix shows, overall. It's so easy to relate to and get reflections from it, which make this show to be an artistic piece. Strong storytelling, you have to read between the lines something like Mad Men. Great casting, perfect location which matches the theme. I'm not a big fan of TV, but I finished this show in two sittings! And I believe I'm not the only one who experienced this. Episodes are short, 30 minutes each. The story follows you, you will think about it the day after and, naturally, you want to talk about it and all of these are signs to claim how engaging this show is, at least for young adults. Can't wait for the second season!
