Synopsis

Many lawyers consider themselves prophets, but Eli Stone may be the real deal. Eli has built a successful career at a top law firm in San Francisco representing only the biggest and richest corporations that make a habit of screwing over the little guy. But after experiencing a series of odd hallucinations, Eli seeks to find a deeper meaning to life while trying not to lose his job and destroy his relationship with the bosses' daughter. When Eli discovers an aneurysm in his brain, he wonders if his condition is truly medical or if perhaps he now has a higher calling.

Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Murphy Howard I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
AndrewF80 My wife and I limit our TV time to the night as we are winding down from a long day. In reality, the world is filled with drama; who said what to whom, which bill can we pay this month, and maybe I shouldn't eat that last piece of steak since my heart is having a hard time. We tend to watch TV in order to escape reality or at least put our minds at ease for a few moments before we have to deal with the next crisis of the day. Eli Stone is like the perfect girlfriend that becomes the worst wife once married. Feel free to substitute boyfriend/husband at your preference. Season 1 is able to bring you into a world of hope and possibilities. You are able to see an Attorney that is amazing at his job except that his success means innocent people are hurt in the process. Eli soon discovers he has a health condition that could be fatal. Along with this problem comes hallucinations that persuade him to be a better person. All through Season 1 the show brings you along this journey of a man who sets out to change the world while having to deal with his friends and family struggling to accept his condition. All in all the people in the show are decent humans. Eli's main concerns are his health, hallucinations and the case of the week. This is the perfect partner. Your angle girlfriend or boyfriend. Then comes Season 2 where the writers themselves must have suffered from a brain aneurysm, brain damage, or perhaps decided money was more important than good story telling. Either way, all the characters you know and love are no longer the same people that were developed in Season 1. Immediately in Season 2 there is drama and turmoil that would have never happened in Season 1. It's as though the Producers felt there wasn't enough dramatic conflict between the characters so they had to force something that hadn't been developed in the previous season. If I were to sum up each episode and rate Eli Stone, it deserves a 5. However, I'm rating Eli Stone based on the original spirit of the show not what it turned into. If you really enjoyed Season 1 and can't wait to binge watch Season 2, I highly recommend you take a moment to reflect on what Season 2 would be like if all the characters were like Matt Dowd but worse and Matt Dowd became the nicest one. If this turns your stomach then skip Season 2.
id268 I never really paid any attention to this show and missed the first few episodes then came across it one day when nothing else was on, after watching one episode I had to watch the rest! the illusions had me in fits of giggles! another good thing is that you can sit down with kids to watch it without worrying about bad language or any other stuff thats inappropriate for them. The story lines are really good in every single episode and the cast are excellent! if when your flicking through the channels on your TV you see the title "eli stone" i highly recommend watching it, it will leave you with a smile on your face and the need to watch more!!
Alvern Ho Really enjoyed it. It encompasses humor, spiritual and drama into a very good set. A good selection of cast and this series is a fresh breath of air amongst all the series. Certainly a good one compared to all the chick flicks type of series lately. Eli Stone gives a new meaning to the legal industry and brings a lot of humanity into a profession sometimes despised of. I have always like a good series with a good touch on the human factor. Also good to see George Michael appearing as himself in a few episodes. Certainly a good effort to get most of the cast to sing and dance, sort of like a Broadway kind of thing. Thumbs up to the production team! I am really looking forward to a few more seasons to come.
Adelina N What makes this show so touching and exciting? I think first of all it's the incredible story that catches attention. I wonder where they get all these ideas about his visions, but everything looks so structured and right. The second thing is of course cast members. Johny Lee Miller is superb in the title role. He makes me cry and laugh. His character is amazingly written! Then it's Victor Garber who's just great! I love him singing in Eli's visions as he has good voice and he is so funny. The topics for each episode are unique and important. Not to mention that they are all actual. I guess it means a lot for a show that it is watched not only in America or Europe but also in Central Asia. I love this show and hope there will be more seasons as I don't want to say "goodbye" to Eli!
