Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

The show was cancelled after the 1st season with no follow up ANYTHING. So after finishing this show and loving it, it'll be like getting your heart broke all over again

I found this most disappointing as I hoped for a light relief and got instead, darkness. There were continuity mistakes as well. I was annoyed with myself for bothering to watch after the first couple of episodes and am glad that no more air time will be wasted now that the series has finished. To say this is series one threatens another and I hope that ratings will prove so poor the mistake is not repeated.

**Possible Spoilers Contained**To be honest, I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I started watching this series. The trailers pulled me in and I set my DVR to record. The first episode was so... interesting and captivating. I was always wondering where the show would go, how Oz would play into it all.I was blown away. The characters were very well characterized and my favorite character relationship was West and Tip for their amazing interactions and the struggles they face together. The visuals were amazing and the story took many twists (I honestly screamed at my friends to watch this show, not lying) and again, the characters were captivating. After season one the only thing I can say is I hope NBC permits another season because I will eat it up. Like I told my friends, (Well, more like screamed) WATCH THIS SHOW!!

The only reason this is even linked with "The Wizard of Oz" is to drag in suckers for nostalgia and emo kids who love 'dark' takes on everything. This has so little to do with Oz that if Baum were still alive he'd sue for the bastardization of his beloved world.Everyone is horrible in some way. It's as if this is a world composed of only the worst people possible. I fully agree with others who find this repugnant: I would gladly nuke them all just to erase them from existence, as they have no reason to exist other than to be miserable to everyone around them. This is a world of Oz as written by a manic depressive drug addict.
