salome000 I'll start by saying the writers, along with the entire cast of Episodes, are brilliant. Perfectly casted and incredibly smart and funny, it's one of the best comedies I've seen in a while. I never watched friends that much, and all I knew of Matt LeBlanc was his Joey character. In this show, he is totally convincing as a Hollywood has-been. He blew me away, seeing him in character as an "actor", then dropping back into the jaded, shallow "Matt Leblanc character", which he plays so convincingly. It's hard to explain but to see the shift from when the cameras are on, then back into his original character when they are off, is marvelous! The dialogue is fantastic and the situations, while sometimes outlandish, are totally believable. I feel like a voyeur who is seeing Hollywood as its true, bloodsucking, soul-crushing self. The writers, Sean and Beverly, are played brilliantly and convincingly, while the actress who portrays Carol, has quickly become one of my favorites. This show is cringe inducing, laugh out loud hilarious! I simply can't do it justice in this review... Do yourself a favor and watch!
