The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

This is one of the best murder mystery animes I have seen. With so many time travels, suspense and major plot twists. If your looking for an anime that has murder mysteries, suspense and a lot of brutal scenes then I would highly recommend it. However when it came to voice actors (I have only watched the dub) if they are voicing little boys with an exception of Sataro and the overweight boy majority of them sound too female then male. I get that in some scenarios like Ben Tennyson from Ben 10 and Bart Simpson from the Simpsons are both voiced by women and are really good at voicing them but this is no exception, I get the content of the anime was R rated since they couldn't get child actors but they might as well have got actually grown men to do their voices especially since they Kyle Mccarley, Xandar Mobus, Ben Diskin and Max Mittelman in this and those men are pretty good at voicing little boys. But other then those problem it was a good anime. I will not spoil any plots otherwise I would be writing this review all day.Long story short go watch this anime.

This is my first review here in IMDb, so I chose "Boku dake ga Inai Machi" (known also as ERASED) because it's a masterpiece in the anime world. I won't talk too much, that's why I will make it a straight one for lazy ones can read it :3✧ STORY: A really well-written and thrilling story that leave you wanting for more, especially the four first episodes. However, it becomes a little monotonous and rushed in the second half of the show. (because, obviously, the studio wanted to finish it in only 12 episodes)✧ CHARACTERS: The main characters are realistic and interesting. Satoru, the protagonist of ERASED, is very boring as an adult, though he's so kind. His character, however, as a kid seems more interesting. You can't help but like him, with his great determination, willpower and cool side. There're also his mother, his co-worker Airi...✧ ART: The animation is greatly well done. Also it's very suitable for a mystery anime. (In view of art, The anime is way better than the manga)✧ SOUND: The OSTs, ED, OP are amazing! Also, Nice voice acting.✧ ENJOYMENT: Don't worry, You WON'T GET BORED watching this show!✧ CONCLUSION: ERASED is a must watch series for those interested in psychological mystery anime! ✧

I've never thought I'd find a very well written and directed anime based manga, but hey if I did, this is the one.Every scene that is presented since the beginning of the season, every sequence that follows, the scoring, the characters, the pace, the editing... phew. I am honestly very happy having watched all of it in one binging day. Because it surpasses way over my expectation. The last anime I loved was shingeki no kyojin. This one way past it. I was instantly hooked and I can say it was very worth it.I love the story and how the anime is presented.Bravo!

I was gonna give this a 6/10. But made it a 7/10.Now, what can I say about this? Well, the beginning was intriguing and great. I knew there was good potential for this to be the greatest winter anime of 2016! I was hooked and binge watched all the episodes that were released! (I didn't watch when it released, only when there were 5 episodes available at the time and I loved it.) And barely any show can do that to me! I'm working on my own thing currently and I made time for this show. There were so many things going great! Until episode 10 came along. Not gonna spoil anything, but if you were to watch it? And yeah, you should. But personally? No. The ship didn't sink, but no doubt it was damaged. (A methapor to saying it had a good start until that episode, just to clarify that. And might mean something else too now that I think about it. But a ship that totally sunk. Now that's a spoiler.) Anyway, I thought they were gonna do something around episode 11 and it didn't happen the way I wanted. But granted, episode 11 was intriguing and it seemed like the first episode? Dunno. It strangely made me feel like there was more to go on is what I'm trying to say, but we are nearing the end and I know it won't be good since I have the feeling that it could've been longer and done better. So, episode 12 happens and there you have it. Now, some might not like what happened from then on. (Just like me.) But I gotta say? It wasn't that bad. You may feel mixed around episode 10 or maybe 9 for that matter, but I suggest you should watch it if there isn't anything good on and you haven't watched it.Regarding the ending too. (This is for those who watched the show.) Some of you that may have not liked it. But it sort of adds realism. This isn't a fairy tale or fantasy even though it has elements. This show was going for that realism and sadly they failed in my opinion. And you might agree too. But I would love to see that more and rightfully done in future stories. May it be in a book/TV show/movie or whatever.
