Diagonaldi Very well executed
Softwing Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??
Rosie Searle It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Cody One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Laurie_Brooks I think "Falcone"is one of the best mafia shows I have ever seen. I liked it a lot better than "The Sopranos". Falcone's story line about an undercover agent becoming part of the mob is lot more interesting to me than what "The Sopranos" offers. I found the most dangerous guys in the mob to be a lot more threatening in "Falcone" than the ones in "The Sopranos". I thought the casting for "Falcone" was excellent. Titus Welliver as Sonny Boy became more powerful as the series unfolded. His acting was brilliant. Eric Roberts is always welcome and was good in "Falcone". "Falcone" consists of 9 hours that was shown on CBS. I am only sorry that the series wasn't continued. Jason Gedrick as the undercover agent was very good and so was Amy Carlson, the woman who played his beautiful wife. I would rate "Falcone" right up there with "Wiseguy" (the one with the late Ray Sharkey) and also I think "Falcone" was as good as the movie "GoodFellas".
gone2seed77 Excellent storyline that must be continued as it's keeping all of us in suspense. Titus Welliver, Sonny Marinelli and Jason Gedrick play complex characters and they do it very well. In only a few shows, they've drawn us into their lives and made us care and feel compelled to watch. Never have we made a point of watching repeats before this second airing of the FALCONE series. If it was opposite Who Wants to be a Millionaire (and we love that show) - FALCONE would win! We hope that CBS won't let the audience down and will incorporate FALCONE as part of it's regular programming.
raboxl Never could get interested in ER, by way of example, but thoroughly enjoyed "Falcone". These people of necessity were inscrutable at times--cover your feelings or be found out, or lose your power over your gang. Very complex situations. Have to remember some "easterners" have different cultural "faces" than "mid-westerners". The acting had to be very much controlled and the eyes had to do a lot of the talking.Too bad families might really have to go through such a life-style to catch criminals.
cappuccino_princess I have seen the Sopranos and other mob-esque shows, but this show is first-class. The show is based on facts and uses emotionally charged characters, interesting plot, fluid dialog, and outstanding cinematography. I hope that it will be turned into a series. For those of you that didn't see it, you missed out.
