It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

/refers to Season 1/From time to time, I try to widen my horizons and watch dramas/thrillers from other regions (apart from the UK and Scandinavia). Some time ago, I had seen Bnei Aruba and liked it, so when Fauda appeared, I found time to watch it.
And I am pleased, in general.Fauda is intense and rough, with key topics as betrayal, terrorism, fight for injustice, revenge - to name a few. All means are used, sometimes successfully, other times not, and both people and their understanding evolve, often towards resentment and actions-before-thoughts. There are hardly pleasant moments and the desolate environment where most of the events take place emphasize the gloomy mood even more. There characters are strong and performed by similar actors and actresses, whom I did not know before, but who are definitely worth following in the future as well. Of course, it is a kind of propaganda and there are lots of moments annoying "softies" all over the world, but it is current life, and every such a conflict has reasons from both sides. I suggest to focus on depiction and narration rather than basics and "morality" of the ideas and deeds.

This is the most engaging TV series I've watched since "Breaking Bad". The characters are all fully developed. So much better than the 2D characters on 95% of US TV shows. The plot lines are interesting, and not predictable.
I particularly like the way the show provides a depth of understanding to the motivations and aspirations of people on all sides of the Israel-Palestine struggle. You can decide who the "good guys" and the "bad guys" are. The show does not point you to one direction or the other with any absolute certainty.

So a show about real stories of people who execute people and glorifies real war criminals.. this show is so badly written, the arabic script is worst than a google translate.. the acting is really bad, the story is very predictable, and it's annoying to watch.. why is this even on netflix?

It is a very thrilling , well crafted cowboy and Indians series, with amazing acting and direction. The Israeli writers have bent backwards to make the Arabs look better than they deserve in my opinion. Great show.
