Reviews

Billie Morin This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
Sarita Rafferty There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
Brooklynn There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
ozza-2 This is a TV-show for kids, and as such a pretty good one. The characters are teenager stereotypes and the acting doesn't bring anything new to to genre either. But the show does bring up some interesting subjects as a example the democracy subject is addressed in a way that are not so common in films for kids. But of course it also contains a lot of humor and love as typical to this genre. It has a lot of similarities with the TV-series LOST; but Flight 29 down was being developed before LOST went on air and therefore there have probably not been any copying of LOST. Also the main audience is not the same, and LOST is absolutely not the first film or TV-series about a group people that crash with an airplane and become stranded on an island...
maggielocker First off, I'd just like to say that these kids are extremely lucky. They survived the crash (without serious injuries, might I add), haven't gotten ill, have tents and camping supplies, and a ten-year-old (?) genius with them. Besides all that, the show really isn't so bad. Its similarities to ABC's Lost can be overlooked, and though some of the actors are weaker than others, the rest show talent. The actress cast as Taylor (Lauren Storm) can be *extremely* annoying, (not to mention incredible thick-headed. Like in the episode with the camera battery. Urg, didn't everyone just want to scream at her?!) but she can also be a bit humorous, and lighten the mood. Jackson (Johnny Pacar)is such a great character, and his acting isn't bad at all. Then there's Daley (Hallee Hirsh), who's very good in her role, and couldn't have been cast better. Nathan (Corbin Bleu. He is popping up EVERYWHERE!!!) can be bothersome, and I have to admit that often I wish he wasn't around. I don't think he adds much to the show.I don't like the editing in this show. Like when we found that Abby girl. Why did they keep flashing pictures of her hand? I found that a bit odd. It's not like her face was cut up or anything, and it wasn't suspenseful - just annoying. Overall, this show isn't wonderful, but certainly hasn't been ranked among such disasters as "Unfabulous" and "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody".
aisha1929 This is the best show on Discovery Kids.I was already a Corbin Bleu Fan. When I found out that Corbin was going to be in this show, I felt that I just had to watch it.This show reminds me of Lost and Survivor. Although I think that Flight 29 Down is much better. All of the cast names are Corbin Bleu(Nathan), Allen Alvarado(Lex), Hallee Hirsh(Daley), Johnny Pacar(Jackson), Jeremy James Kissner(Eric), Lauren Storm(Taylor), and Kristy Wu(Melissa). It is written by Stan Rogow, who is also wrote scripts for Lizzie McGuire. All of my siblings love it. I like this show so much that I bought the book, which tells the beginning of what happened , before the show started. I give it three thumbs up.
Herringfive I love this show it is SO great. people say its a cheap cut off of LOST but we all know its not. I love this show! Every that says it is coping off of LOST ha not around for a while. First what about Gilligan's island , survivors, the real Gilligan's island (the remake of the older version) and a-zillion others but no one pays attention to that. DO THEY? Anyway i like the video diaries heres way : 1)iget a close up of Corbin Bleu's face(aka Nathan) 2)It show how the character really feel. Some think that kids my age don't like the show i do because i seriously think that if me and 9 of my other classmates were strand on an island we'ed act the same way!
