Matrixston Wow! Such a good movie.
ThiefHott Too much of everything
Comwayon A Disappointing Continuation
Kimball Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
vinsent for some people may be thinking that this movie must be a not make sense movie, because everything that happen is out of our sense, and all of that can not happen in the real world. but fringe can make me think that maybe it can happen. because of the explanation and the acting really make me amazed. the explanation of the event really can make it all make sense and so clearly biologic and smart. so, although i have not finished watching this movie yet, i have thought this is an awesome TV show about science.
Engelberth J.J. is an amazing man. First I watched his "Alias" and was completely in love with Jennifer Garner) It's a kind of magic) What J.J. does and I'd like to thank him here) Thank you J.J. for making these shows that make some moments of my life truly magical))Now... no spoilers at all. Just a hint) Tiny one) The choice for John Noble for this show was a hit) The thing is his Denethor character, in the Lord of the rings, how he was deeply... madly obsessed with his sons, and mostly, Faramir... this obsession and this character was somehow brought into this show. But Walther Bishop is not Denethor he is a joyride)) This actor John Noble creates such an impossible character... deeply humane, deeply..hugely funny..and yet with a shakespearean tragedy inside. You know, you can watch Fringe on a rainy day and get sunshine from this Walther)) Try it) I actually prefer this show to Lost. The chemistry between the main characters is not just believable, it's alive) I think Fringe is the most kind, humane and really ... best thing J.J. did really)) There are some horror scenes, some FBI routine but this company of leading characters it... feels like family in a good way)) And this is what I would really like to stress out. The thing that J.J. does and always tries to do is actually not fantasy, sci-fi and twists in a plot. It is about people being together. Despite of all differences, all the controversies, offences and misconceptions... to be together and be happy.. simple and true... this is his message)) So... I guess I haven't made a very good review about the show because I'm kind of living in it...with it... with these very beautiful characters) But give it a try)) Do not compare it to X Files or other shows, just remember - this is a brilliant show, full of great stories , great twists, great people, but in the fist place, first and foremost it is about pepole being together, the story of Humanity
paulorg "There are lots of universes that are parallel to our own universe with minor variations" said a scholar whose name I have forgotten. From the title and the quote you guys might have guessed that the show centers on the concept of parallel universe and the theory of multiverse. Well it's just one of the many scientific marvels that are present in this show. I'm not gonna say they are a sci-fi show (Well they are!!) And ruin the rest of the article for you because even though the show presents us with some crazy sci-fi stuff it also provides people with some basic knowledge about science.I have seen a lot of sci-fi movies, TV shows blah blah blah the voice of many people reading this blog but let me tell you this show is the real deal. No amount of sci-fi created apart from this will ever equal the marvel that is this show. The show has two scientists (Mad scientists!!) who worked on studying the effects and changes in the parallel universe. The scientists names are Walter Bishop and William Bell who found out that the people of the parallel universe are far more advanced then this universe. This situation forced them to do something unspeakable and inhumane. They justified this by saying they were just creating a shield to protect the people of this universe and the unspeakable thing was the scientific experiments they conducted on young kids(Now I know you stop reading, but don't) Their experiments may seem barbaric but it created some strong individuals having unique super powers and one of the kid from this group of talented individuals turned out to be a saviour for not one but two universes.paul96.org/FRINGE-The Multidimensional Marvelpaul96.org/OLIVIA DUNHAM-The Captivating Superheropaul96.org/PETER BISHOP-An Audacious Individualpaul96.org/WALTER BISHOP-The Scientific Sensationpaul96.org/WILLIAM BELL & WALTER BISHOP-The Mad Scientistspaul96.org/THE CONCEPT OF PARALLEL UNIVERSE-Subject:Walter Bishoppaul96.org/FRINGE-The Best Episodes
Bouch213 I'll start by saying that this is my first review,I'm a huge sci-fi fan i've seen so many shows and movies, i pay attention to details, and that's probably why i hate a lot of recent shows. I missed Fringe when it first aired, IMDb was part of the reason for that, there was so many bad reviews that threw me off. I finally decided to give a shot in 2017 ' almost 9 years after' and man I'm happy I did. the first few episodes weren't the best but after a few more i found myself addicted. This show follows it's own rules and lives in it's own universe and if u give it a chance u get to live there too. The storytelling is amazing and focused,'I don't recommend skipping any episode'. Walter Bishop is the mad scientist 'a funny one too', cares for no one and everyone ( played by the brilliant John Noble), Peter Bishop the charismatic genius son who never lived up to his potential, who never belonged (played by Joshua Jackson),Phillip Broyles Fringe Division's Leader, a honorable trustworthy man (played by Lance Reddick) , Astrid Farnsworth Walter's assistant (played by Jasika Nicole), Nina Sharp head of Massive Dynamic, the one who always reminded Bell and Walter that somethings r not there's to mess with ( Played by Blair Brown) and a special mention to William Bell the founder of Massive dynamic and Walter's old Lab partner who's even crazier than Walter IMO (played by the great Leonard Nimoy) and Septembre the Observer who is not like the others ( played by Michael Cerveris) and finally Olivia Dunham (I read a lot about the actress being stiff and wooden, but man she's anything but wooden), Nothing seems to get to Olivia but again nothing is what it seems, she's compassionate, passionate and driven and u could genuinely feel that she cares, I think Anna Torv didn't get enough credit for the amazing job she did as Olivia ( and Fauxlivia ) and for me she became a reason to tune in. I've never reviewed anything before but I wanted to get out there, Fringe is one of the best series ever made sci-fi or otherwise and I'm glad I finally gave it a chance
