jczochan I enjoyed this series very much-the acting was top-notch and I liked how Einstein's theories were illustrated in the show. It was entertainment, people, not a documentary. I am now reading the book it was based on. It is a series that leaves you wanting to learn more-and there is nothing wrong with that.

wilson trivino My relationship with Picasso has always been static. Looking at one of his art pieces in a quiet museum. This series did a good job of giving me a better understand him as a man. Sure he was a genius but he had problems like everyone else. Money, career, and women. The series starts off fast as this ambitious young man wants to take on the world. It slows down as he tries to manage the complexity of his relationships with women. It was an inter struggle to be dedicated to his art or give of himself to the people around him. Antonio Banderas does an over the top portrayal. Overall a good cliff notes version of this complex artist. Dr. Wilson Trivino

danielimbert A great insight to the man. I've been reading these negative reviews and they are terribly misguided. Yes there is some modern Hollywood bait to lure in the casual viewer but the acting is superb all round and stands as a terrific drama. Einstein was more than his scientific accomplishments and to be frank This is a story! Not a documentary film or educational series. It was not designed to educate the viewer in relativity, it was designed to show us the world he lived through and the challenges he faced. That is far more captivating. All the "smart people" who are disturbed by the lack of science and sex (oh my I can't bear to see people simulating a natural act) get your heads out of your asses. It was shot beautifully, written superbly and touches on more intellectual subjects than we can usually expect from a television drama. It is a fantastic vehicle to introduce scientific ideas to people who perhaps wouldn't look into otherwise and also reminds us of why certain attitudes should be left in the past. It's educational indeed, just not in the way you thought.
