The atmospheric feel of Gomorra is so realistic that you feel like visiting Naples and wandering the graffiti filled streets and experiencing the place for yourself!The casting is superb and even though some have said season 3 is a bit slower than the previous shows, I'd disagree. To me it's clearly building up a new scene and script for Genny and Ciro to forge forward.I recommend this show to anyone who enjoys foreign dramas, ones that are not full of Hollywood effects and cheesy story lines. It's real, gritty, brutal at times, heartfelt and has the potential to real build on the main characters of the show. Whilst the Godfather film was a breakthrough mafia movie that inspired many other such films, this is everything the Godfather wasn't. It feels real. It feels like this is happening today in Naples and other parts of the world. The musical score is worth a mention too as it provides genuine atmosphere to the whole show. Do not miss this programme!

What can I say that the other 9/10 star reviews haven't said? Well for a start ignore anything below 7, even those are unfair. This series is so realistic it's hard to believe these guys are actors and not real gangsters.I've never seen the original film so can't compare this series to it but it if it's even half as good I want to asap! I wish I could speak Italian as I'm sure I'm missing something in the translation but not much.I don't need to give you a plot outline, many others have done so already. If you haven't watched it yet I strongly suggest you do. If you loved the Sopranos then you'll love this even more. If I could give it 15 out of ten I would.

10/10 best crime drama since the wire !!!! You forget about the subtitles that's how good it is, Just finished the third season and i can't wait for the forth already. BRAVO ITALY !!!!!!
