Synopsis

Teens PJ and Teddy and tween brother Gabe are typical kids -- that is, until their mother has another baby. The arrival of their new sister completely upends the entire household. When their mother heads back to work after Charlie's birth, it's up to the kids and their dad to keep the home fires burning -- and to keep Charlie out of trouble as she learns to sit up, crawl, walk and run. Teddy, as the older sister, makes a personalized video diary for Charlie, in each episode adding a nugget of wisdom for her baby sibling.

Linbeymusol Wonderful character development!
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Yazmin Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
cowface17 Honestly I think this is the best Disney show since 2000 ever made. I truly love it. Disney finally makes a show ABOUT A REGULAR FAMILY!!!!!!! It is not about someone who has a secret double life or someone who can tell the future, or who dances on T.V or lives in a million dollar penthouse or kids in high school or people with a dog that can talk. It is about a regular family with regular problems like money, college, social life, and each other. There are so many good things about it and I am glad that Disney is signing it up for a fourth season. I even hope they make a fifth season. Once good luck Charlie ends, there will be no more good shows on Disney. Here are the things I like about it: The show is not like any other Disney show where there is someone really dumb and someone really smart. P.J maybe is dumb, but he is not unrealistically dumb like Max, Pasley and Dez. He can actually be smart at times and not someone who can't understand anything. Also the parents Bob and Amy are hilarious and even as it seems they are bad parents, when times they need to help their kids or get serious they help, unlike in most Disney shows where parents don't try to help their kids. Another thing why I love this show is that it is hilarious. It is funny. I am getting much older and I don't really laugh and Disney shows anymore. But I am always laughing at GLC. It is good for all ages. I watch GLC with my entire family and we love it. In any other Disney show, they try to make it funny by having the characters insult one another and they think it is funny. In Jessie, they are always making fun of Jessie of how she is old and ugly who wears ugly clothing. But Jessie is not ugly and she is always wearing these fancy clothes. Also, she is about 20. Seriously, how is 20 old! In Austin and Ally they always pick on Ally. In Shake it up( the worst show to walk on Disney) they always make fun of how short CeCe is. But she is not that SHORT. She is the height of a normal person. And they are always saying how tall Rocky is, though she is not that tall. Please, I am younger than her and still taller. Also the acting in Good Luck Charlie is fantastic. This is one of the best acting I have seen for a Disney show. Also in GLC there are always family members working together to fix something and it is really interesting. Charlie is adorable and can be funny. All ages will laugh. It is a good role model for kids. It does not get boring; the family is always taking vacations in the mountains or a lake. Always introducing new characters! I have to admit though that adding another baby was not the smartest idea. They are changing the point of the story which is Charlie. But in my honest opinion I don't care about them having another baby. I truly love this show! Overall: Incredible!
Pi The writing quality in this show is unprecedented. I haven't seen a show this well written, since Friends. The story line is easy to follow, well written, and its hilarious. The cast and characters feel real, and come alive. Unlike all the other Disney TV shows, this one isn't about singers/dancers wanting to make it in the world. Its about a normal family, and their everyday experiences. The show follows Teddy, a teenager who is making video diaries for her little sister, Charlie. Bob Duncan, an exterminator, and his wife Amy, a nurse, have clashing personalities that complement the show. You also have the older brother, PJ who is hilariously dimwitted at times, and his younger brother Gabe, who is the token trouble maker. This is an excellent television show that can be watched over and over again. Its just an all around feel good show, that is fun for both parents and children!
Caleb Williams This show would usually deserve a 4 or 10 but since everyone wants to give it a good score I had to lower mine. This show is OK and Bridget Mendler is the best character, but for some dumb reason they decided to revolve the show around a little baby who's very cliché and not funny. If this show would've revolved (which it mostly is but not completely) around Bridget's character this show would've been much more better. The little baby isn't funny and the fact they decided to add another little baby which messes up the dynamic and reason for the show and also is she going to make video diaries for the new baby Toby. As of now the show has been on long break with no new episodes and this is probably because the writers and director realized that they might of messed up with adding a new baby. Jason Dolly who plays P.j is just a terrible addition to the show, him acting like a person with a mental defect is not funny. Gabe would be a good character if he did not always refer to himself being bad. It would also be better if he did not say anything about his character its really cliché to always say how bad you are. The parents show almost no concern to what their kids do and their mom is washed up and is always trying to live young.Even though Bridget Mendlers performance is OK on the show the convoluted plots ruin the show. If they never casted Jason Dolly, never had the baby being a big part of the show, and made the parents good symbpls and role models this show could have been somewhat iconic and Disney classic. This show is truly terrible and Disney should completely get rid of it.
baileen67 Pretty much all of the Disney Channel shows are just crap. I watched this one and about 5 minutes into it my jaw was dropped. There were no wizards, pop stars with a double life, actors on a comedy show or anything else not normal. It's a normal family that can be related to. They aren't rich or live on the beach. They live in Colorado! The family includes: Teddy, the second oldest child who is intelligent and wants to give advice about growing up to her little sister Charlotte, or Charlie, who is an adorable baby who sometimes causes trouble, PJ is the oldest kid who is sweet but stupid, Gabe is the troublemaker who will do anything to go to SuperAdventureLand, the amusement park, Amy, the mom whose dream is to get on TV, be a model, or just be famous, and Bob, the dad who is fat and owns a place called Bob's Bugs Be Gone, a pest control place. Good job, Disney! Way to go and keep it up! I recommend this show to anyone, kid and adult alike.
