nherdyc Gossip Girl is overrated. I don't know why so many people like it. I know everyone has there own taste but seriously this crap. I was recommended this TV show because of my interest in Riverdale, so I had high expectations since I really liked Riverdale. I even checked out some reviews before I watched and most people gave it a 10 star rating. So I watched five episodes and was bored. From the first episode I could see where it was going. After the fifth episode I realized that this show isn't for me with all drama. I don't even see how it's like Riverdale, Riverdale it's about murder mysteries. GG is about this girl Serena Van Der Woodsen coming back from boarding school. When she comes back she realizes it's not the same as she left, then from there it's just drama cheating and we'll.....drama. Then there's her brother Eric which is SO UGLY. Like I can't even look at him with out cringing so hard like oh my gosh he's that ugly. I mean l like the brother but he was just straight up ugly. The people who gave this show 9-10 star ratings are probably a bunch of girly girls who love shows with no plot and boring drama.

Children who have everything and yet, they are unhappy.Blair is mean, Chuck drinks and has sex with all women, Serena does drugs, Serena's brother did a suicide.Rich children have money , but they haven't something important: love from parents. Dan was poor but he was happier.He had a father who adored him. Jenny was stupid. She thought this world would make her happy. But she became a monster.I am lucky i wasn't born rich and i had love.Not my dad's (he is a monster), but my mother's.Serena's mother cares about what people think.Never loved her.Poor kids....No parents, no real friends.Pity that this show ended so abruptly.I guess rich people want us to believe lies.....9/10 is a must .....also very good performances

abogasieru Is absolutely gorgeous, all the glamour, the fashion events, the characters and their relationships, the love stories, the twisted intense and messed up one between Blair and Chuck and Serena's life style, you just can not get enough of it. First I used to watch this series a few years ago, when myself I went to some similar relationship, a twisted, dark, intensive and unhealthy love with someone who I identified him as Chuck Bass, so I did identify so much in this great love between Blair and Chuck. I did not watch until the end the show, I think it was too painful for me to watch it at that time. Recently I started to watch it again, episode after episode, season after season, so in a couple of days I watch it until season 5, at the half of it. I really like Blake Lively, she is such a gorgeous actress, but maybe she is not really about her this series, is about the relationship about Blair and Chuck, they are getting all the stages of any relationships: friends, secretly partners standing by each others' side, lovers, enemies... and the show has no end until they finally are for real back together, they have the longest and deepest relationship, not Serena with Dan, or Serena with Dan. Shame that Blake Lively did not have such a love story.
