Absolutely amazing

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review

Though I should be embarrassed to say that at 18 I watch a television show marketed for tweens, I'm not. H2O: Just Add Water is quality entertainment. The storyline, though not entirely lacking in plot holes, is well thought out and attention catching. I've scoured the internet on more than one occasion in the attempts of finding the next episodes and I'm mildly heartbroken about the current state of Season 3. I cannot help but remain interested in whatever might be happening in "mermaid land" The acting is certainly not that of Kate Winslet or George Clooney but as far as the small screen goes the skills of the young cast are enviable. Phoebe Tonkin (Cleo), Cariba Heine (Rikki), and Claire Holt (Emma) are the three headliners. They portray their roles as not only mermaids but best friends in a believable and touching way--and manage to convey turmoil in their relationships with each other but significant others as well. We often see Angus McLaren (Lewis) and Burgess Abernethy (Zane) throughout the series and they too are welcome characters. Both portray teens with real personality flaws and remain an area of interest.Certainly the series isn't without its flaws but it's a cute show that will keep you entertained. I'll definitely continue watching for as long as it runs.

I have no idea what the chick from the USA was on about just because it's not American humour dosen't mean its not a great show, newsflash the rest of the world dosen't have to like everything you like. The show has a fan base with yes unbelievable story lines and love interests, Love how all the girls are settling into their characters and each seem to be finding their own ways.If you like the movie aquamarine and like shows that don't take themselves too serious than this show is for you. Look out for Indianna Evans from Home and Away when she joins the cast for season 3.My advice watch a few eps and if you don't like it don't like it don't watch anymore.

I am 13 years old and in the U.S.A. And out of all the new shows they're putting on Nick, I would have to say this is by far the stupidest and least thought out. The creators took a childish storyline and tried to add teen-ish elements to it. And it didn't work. Mediocre acting combined with a worn-out plot made this almost laughable. Most things don't make sense. The characters are not believable, and when they are believable, they take themselves too seriously. This is supposed to be a children's show, but it turned out more like a 90's soap opera. My advice: don't watch it. Not worth your time at all.

As a response to the previous comment...The show is shown in America,as of recently, and it is shown on Teen Nick on weekends.Right now I am watching an episode about Emma having a sleepover, and it is good. I am 14, and I saw it for the first time yesterday. The girls I babysit, 11 and 7, enjoy it immensely, I think mainly for the mermaids. So far I guess it is okay. It just seems like another teen sitcom. A guy gets in the way of all of the girls and they get mad. I think it is interesting how it takes 10 seconds after they get wet. Cleo just got wet and turned into a mermaid in front of the party. That was an interesting plot turn. Oh well. Watch the show and find out if you like it!
