jontyboy345 Is there anything good about this show? Its produced by the man who bought the Jerry Springer show to the world (thanks for that). He obviously saw pawn stars and wanted an all shouting all fighting version of it. Actually he has missed one out- a storage auction show where guys fight when they are outbid. OK so for the people who haven't seen this show every episode goes like this. Black guy walks in with 25 year old video recorder. Wants $200 for it. Tested by staff member. Faulty. Seller insists it works then insults staff member and is told to leave. Argument ensues and security appears within one second. Seller thrown out and told don't come back. Would be seller shouts insults and threats. Cut to ongoing scripted internal argument between Ashley and Seth about who is best in the shop and who should be manager. Next scene...Black guy walks in with black and white TV and so on. There are a few issues with that format. First- there is a lot of poverty in Detroit and it's not just African Americans who don't have cash - the producers need to show more of a realistic overview of that. It's borderline racism if you only show black poverty. Also Seth and Les are decent guys who deserve a show better than that. Ashley rivals Vickie Guerrero as the most annoying woman on TV.

She has a total disorder when it comes to salesmanship.Les and Seth are perfect for their position's. Karen please help Ashley. Her dad and brother are blinded by their love for her. Hang in there Karen please don't let her run you off the show , you are great .I had almost stopped watching the show before Karen was added. My main problem with Ashley is , she has no respect for anyone mainly her Father. How can that be ? He is so loving with her. Maybe she takes too much for granted... Good luck to all . amongol1 I saw this show for the first time today and it was so terrible I made an account just to rate it 1/10. This show should be taken off TRUtv right away it is a blemish on the already crummy channel. The show doesn't even really focus on the items brought into the store like Pawn Stars does. Instead it focuses on stupid staged fights between the three main characters and the customers. To me this show really doesn't have anything to offer to the viewer in terms of entertainment, the whole show is very blatantly staged . I really wish this show is taken off the air due to the fact that it is overall just a very poor representation of TRUtv and the city of Detroit, yes Detroit is a very troubled city but when you make a show like this you really aren't helping its case when you show a bunch of white trash idiots having staged fights with their primarily black customer base. Overall this show is no doubt a 1/10 and I don't recommend you support this show by watching it even in the slightest.
rollanrenee Worst piece of fake crap to ever land on tru TV!!! I would rather watch one of the Golden Girls have a breast exam!! The whole thing is fake. They would just tuck tail and run if they were ever approached by someone they have on there! I would have already knocked Ashley out and sent seth back to the lord of the rings. Ooooo so scared of a fat chick and her recycled brother. Then there is mullet man. I watch a few minutes of it and it just turns my stomach. I thought Tru TV was for court drama and cops and stuff like that, but oh no we have to watch a dork and his fat sister pretend to scare off people, they can do that just standing outside in the parking lot!.... BORING!!!!! They SUCK!!!!
