2hotFeature one of my absolute favorites!
Lachlan Coulson This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.
Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
adam_dehaar Kathy Bates, is back... Wow this first episode had me in tears with the amount of truth passion and honesty in its delivery. The notion that you would even dare to put on another Legal drama on New Zealand TV is preposterous but Harry's Law, really works I know it's only viewed as a TV show but ya know what? This has just become my 'NEVER MISS' new show. The mix of rough off the street thugs seeking Legal Aid and the shoes "WHAT ABOUT THE SHOES" its way up there with all that is holly aka Prada.. Amen to the writers supporting actors and Kathy Bates you rule beyond rule.. 'SEX IN THE CITY' who??? Now I could go on line and watch the next episode, but I will wait the 7days just to savor tonight's viewing pleasure but honestly can't wait for next week. Thank you TVNZ and TV1
Don Cole So what happened to this show. Suddenly we're a big law firm and the tone of the show has changed entirely. Harry is now just a cranky old bitch and what did you do to Jean Smart. Designing Women seems like it was on another planet. She is totally unbelievable as a character. I feel sorry for her having to deliver those lines with a straight face. Any charm and humanity the show had seems to be gone. If you're trying to be the Good Wife, forget it, you're not in the same league. And where did Mark Valley come from? I appreciate that he is nice eye candy but what has he got to do with anything. The former supporting cast seems to have been pushed aside as stars with higher profiles take the spotlight. Alfred Molina is wonderful but give him something to work with please.
guitardkj I Just watched the second episode of the show, I do like it very much but I absolutely hate when the story line continues for 2 or MORE weeks. Most people are busy and can not always watch a continuing story. I, myself, like to see each story wind up in 1 episode and occasionally a second might be necessary but I will not watch it anymore if it is going to be like an evening soap opera where the story goes on and on. I also think you have gone a little too far with the lawyer whacking the possible witness across the head and the antics of the district attorney. Keep it real.....Harry and Tommy Jefferson are enough for any show. You have a good mix of characters already...don't get carried away.
AntonyAsari The show's season 2 premiere feels like it would be a season 1 pilot...in another show. Though it is set in Cincinnati, there is no longer anything "Cincinnati" about the show, other than the references in the dialogue and the opening scene where Harriet takes the elevator to her "new digs".Like the set that has changed from season 1 to season 2, what went from a unique show transformed into another legal drama that seems to feel like an amalgamation of David Kelley's other dramas. In season 1, we relied on the principal cast to give the backdrop that is Cincinnati. Remember when Damien introduced himself in the Pilot, offering his "protection"? Or how about that storyline when the aspiring lawyer Malcolm Davies sat as a mediator between two gangs? Or even when Adam was struggling between two women? No, I think Harry's Law is becoming another cut-and-paste legal drama...a rehash of older, tired plot lines that the only difference between The Practice and this show is the "city" in which it takes place. That is not to say that I don't like this "restart" of Harry's Law...but aside from Tommy Jefferson's rather over-extravagant reminders of who he is, I feel the comedy is lost---which is what it was set out to be in the first season, and did it quite well. But the change of characters, the rather "expensive" feeling of the show just makes me feel that the real loser is the identity that is Cincinnati. Nevertheless, I am still hooked on Harriet's character. I hope she can match wits with that Roseanna, Tommy will regain some of his lost "luster", and Adam will continue being his "bug".But clearly, the show has changed direction. As much as I'd like to see their younger characters make an appearance on this season, it likely won't happen and likely won't lose viewers in the process.
