Reviews

Marketic It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.
Ceticultsot Beautiful, moving film.
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
dogsrwill Jessalyn is supposed to be a paranormal investigator but she is always screaming and "freaked out"! Plus she cusses like a sailor. Being a paranormal investigator, is spooky and creepy,I mean, searching for ghosts and demons is scary, but she is always so scared and screaming. Plus I can't believe she cusses so much on TV, She screams then you hear beeping, because she's cussing , who wants to hear that? Get somebody who can be a real investigator and won't cuss so much and isn't so afraid of everything. The other thing I think you can improve on is they always stop investigating when the activity is at it's highest. That's when you get good evidence. Please replace Jess with a real paranormal investigator or teach her to investigate scary places without "freaking out" so much. Otherwise I love the show and John Zaffis is awesome.
brassowfor3 Man, where do I start with how bad this is? Terrible dialogue to go along with stupidly ridiculous talking to watches, lamps, cookie jars, pens, toys.... and so on. How anyone can believe that this show is real, is totally beyond me. Scy-Fy constantly keeps coming up with these haunted/ghost type shows that are all the same. Every episode should be titled "Did You See That?... Did You Hear That?...What Was That?". Moving On, we have Deep South Paranormal, don't even get me started on how pathetic that show is! Then you've got Haunted Highway which is actually a little better than this or Deep South Paranormal, but still so put on. Good Grief... Ghost Hunters needs to end as well! Anyway, I would rate this show a 0, but you can't go any lower than 1.
nekahana Originally I thought it would be a pretty good series, since I have always been interested in the paranormal. However, after watching 3 or 4 episodes, I really get the feeling that "objects" that they find were planted...honestly how can an item be overlooked in an area where everyone happens to be walking thru. I can understand if an item is buried, but common how can someone overlook a garrote sticking out of a wall...yes you have to look up, but still how can you not see a wire. Next, its amazing how John Zaffis, the lead investigator, happen to know when to have an EVP played back to hear a voice or a response. Perhaps the editors do a lot of editing to make John looks like he gets "the feeling".
alcymuluk First of all, I don't think the first season was as bad as many on here (and in other places, too) claim this show to be. Yes, the cast is one of the clunkiest you can find on any reality-show nowadays ( my "favorite" is John's son), however I wouldn't bash the show for that.I personally like the show because it goes beyond the usual GH, GHI, Ghost Adventures, etc.format, who only want to give proof that the paranormal exists. Sure, Ghost Hunters try to position themselves as the guys to call, when something paranormal is scaring you ("especially when it involves children"), but do they solve the problem? No. Do they find a solution to the hauntings they find? No. Except for a season one episode, where they called in a catholic priest to get rid of the ghosts, all they GH does is to tell the client at the end of every investigation that they basically shouldn't be afraid, that ghosts were people too and that they should peacefully co-exist with each other.Haunted Collector tries to solve a problem. That's their premise. And while they don't do it perfectly, and sometimes make you feel that their decision-making process is kinda black-box-like (second season is way better, though, in terms of episode flow and production) I think, they are the only show out there who come up with a proper explanation for what the cause of the haunting is.And as for John Zaffis doing the show to stealing stuff for his Museum... come on guys, do a little background check on the guy! He's a trusted authority in the field, with lots of street creds. If he wants to steal your haunted items, he could do it off-air much more efficiently.
