Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
lptboyer I am a die hard Ghost Hunters fan, and then also became just as hooked on GHI. I was upset when Rob Demarest left that show. He was always very credible and level headed. So upon seeing this new show that he is in, I was so excited. But I am so disappointed in Rob for even appearing on this show. His "hand-picked" investigators are all wimps! I can not believe how many times they back out of a room because they have a "feeling". That is when you go IN! It is just a very hokey show compared to the Ghost Hunters and GHI shows. I also hate the way that it is filmed, I really don't want to look up anyone's nose "Blair Witch" style. I wish they would bring GHI back, but if not, then at least get Rob off of this show so he can do a show where everyone isn't backing out of rooms constantly and he can do what he does best, go IN and investigate!
checkted22 This is a great new show in the US. The production values are outstanding, far better than most of the paranormal shows. The investigators are credible, well developed, and articulate. The story is interesting, and intriguing. The show avoids the hokey tricks to most paranormal shows, and is interesting as history as well as a search for manifestations of of the spiritual world. After being a fan of Ghost Hunters International, I was disappointed to see that Robb Demarest appears so little in the first episode. While some viewers criticize him for his rigorous standards of observation, I have always had more faith in him. He seems to bring a powerful integrity to the investigation. His long history in the field means that he is less likely to be led astray by stray phenomenon. The explanation of the technology is clear and through. The international character of the team adds depth to the show.I can't wait for next week's episode.
kiana181 I only watch shows like this to get a good laugh cos the truth is that there's no such things as ghosts so these people must be dealing with either Satan or 1 or more of his demons! When a person dies they either go to heaven or hell both of which are very real; people's souls do NOT stay on earth as ghosts! People need to get real & realize what they're really dealing with when these incidents do happen! I'm so tired of shows about ghosts, which are nonexistent,& shows about aliens, which are also very nonexistent! Shows like these are a waste of airtime on TV when something more entertaining or educational could be put on TV in these slots to watch! Anyone who believes in such nonsense will find out the truth when they die I guess but in the meantime stop wasting airtime on the TV with such nonsense!
aretha-waria It's definitely refreshing to see something from Australia as there is a very rich history here. However, I thought it would be even more brilliant if there were something that included the Australian Indigenous history. There are many sites including the Myall Creek massacre in 1838 which involved 30 and 40 murders of Indigenous people. There's indigenous stories about many strange and fearsome creatures in the bush. Would be cool if they had a look out there and spent some time with Indigenous elders in communities - they will definitely find something out there. In all honesty, I did enjoy the show, however, I love having the mixture of science and physic In the Geelong Goal episode I would've loved to have seen the woman in the cell that would've made some interesting viewing.
