Synopsis

Dr. Nathaniel Grant is a pioneering organ-transplant surgeon who takes risks that other doctors would not in order to save the lives of his patients. He works closely with his ex-wife, Kate Armstrong, an organ-donor coordinator with whom he has a volatile relationship. Grant's arrogance and willingness to perform risky procedures causes him to butt heads with the hospital administration. But his main focus is on his intense relationship with his job and his patients, often at the expense of his family.

Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Lumsdal Good , But It Is Overrated By Some
Beystiman It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
HDbahn I thought this was nothing like "House" and (fortunately) nothing like the serious/soapy ERs either. Treat Williams plays a bit softhearted in contrast to his workaholic relationship-killing type, but the stories were genuinely touching and good PR for organ donation (give blood/give life- or get a tattoo and wait a year. This is strictly my opinion and I'm willing to pad with it- I think my short comments on the show are accurate). No gimmicky triumphs making the genius look good. Also, it employs at least one actor/actress from Invasion, which was foolishly deployed at the same time as Threshold and that other sci-fi sea creature thriller that all bit the dust. (Don't these writers ever call each other?)
Fred White ... it's not using it.It is basically like "House" only instead of being a team that focuses on mysterious illnesses, they specialize in organ transplants. After seeing one episode, I really did not see much that made me want to see more. It seemed like a cookie cutter show with scenes that you've seen in medical shows over and over again. What makes medical shows interesting is the characters. There seems to be a lot of characters in this show, but none that seem very interesting. Treat Williams is about as boring as you can get, and there are no real high points in a cast that seems talented based on past shows. All in all, if you see Heartland, you might like it. But if you haven't seen it, then you have not missed much.
ikanboy The presence of Treat Williams made this worthy of being checked out. Unfortunately Treat has signed on to a show with no interesting characters, lame script writing, and worst of all a depressed Treat Williams shuffling through his role as Transplant Surgeon supreme! He has an ex wife who works in the hospital - oh please!. Will they won't they get together again? Does anybody care? He has a boss (Dabney Coleman) who needs a transplant but won't get one, which irks Treat off no end, and so far it looks like he's going to try and talk him into it in every episode. And, just like almost every show these days he sees dead people! Since six feet under everybody has gotten into the act! Rescue Me, the short lived Goldblum show, CSI, and now this one! The show it replaced: Saved, was alive. This one needs a transplant!
