Livestonth I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
Sharkflei Your blood may run cold, but you now find yourself pinioned to the story.
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Gary The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.
gpanin-48159 What a dumb show, dialogs are written by teenagers, the whole thing just makes no sense.
morgan-659-312842 I started watching this on Netflix and after the first four episodes was thinking about abandoning it. It seemed to be somewhat rudderless and it was difficult to see where it might be going. Then, in the space of a couple of episodes, it picked up dramatically and showed the invention and imagination that had been lacking at the beginning. It takes a while to get used to the characters but it's worth it and by the end of the first series it's obvious that there is a talent behind the writing. Series two makes the most of the multi-layered approach and the teasing way in which the audience finds out about pertinent details. It's fun and gory. It's uncomplicated but at the same time demands considerable attention from the viewer. A real shame that it was cancelled as the series could easily have developed to become something exceptional.
planetjeffy This series had a budget, good actors/acting and quality sets, totally unusual for SyFy. AHiroyuki Sanada, Billy Campbell, Kyra Zagorsky and the rest of the cast turn in great performances. The story gets moving quickly and sucks you in fast. Science fiction mixed with horror and suspense - what's not to love?About the story...It's a TV show, people turn into genetically engineered psycho zombies. Quit trying to say it wasn't realistic. That's like trying to say Walking Dead isn't realistic. Yes, the show went way off the tracks in the 2nd season - the arctic location lent itself much better to the story. Would have been nice to see where they story was going for a 3rd season. Hello, Amazon, Netflix are you listening?
nathanieldiacono The storyline seems fine in the first 2 episodes, and I could put up with the average acting, but some stuff the characters did was too much too bear.1. A CDC scientist pretty much starts rubbing nosies with a diseased monkey before it predictably lunges at her face 2. One unarmed guy starts crawling in air ducts in chase of a violent infected scientist before he predictably lunges at his face. 3. CDC scientists have a violent encounter with quarantined people, so what do they do when they need to re-enter quarantine? 2 women go in alone and unarmed, and predictably it hits the fan.Couldn't take any more of it at that point.
