Stevecorp Don't listen to the negative reviews
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
Tayloriona Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Edwin The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
mrcheminee So season 1 started out pretty interestingly. A mystery, some gory murders, good effects, nice characters, very cool music. I should have seen it coming...Those last episodes were ****ing pieces of ****. As is revealed that the white haired girl is the other wolf, the pregnant girl is struggling and screaming as an idiot. Not listening to a word that is said. As Peter goes into battle she is screaming like an idiot. Peter instead of really doing anything is just waiting for the white hair girl to become the white wolf and only then thinks about fighting her. Peter is suppose to offer his face to become a wolf, but he just gets it back. He dies, he gets saved by LOVE. Roman has an axe and waits for the bad wolf to bite it instead of taking a swing. As Peter is fighting the white wolf everybody is just standing around. Get the ****ing axe, you ****. The sheriff is also an idiot who just starts shooting around in the end. And then everybody is just going to lie in his favor. Yeah right. Somehow most of this **** could have worked, if effort was put in. But it wasn't. so **** this ****.
rapunzel-38268 First season is better than second season, in my opinion. First season had good character development, interesting relationships, exciting plot, script, well acted, good production values. Second season has a bifurcated focus - doesn't know whether to focus on the trials of the characters as supernatural beings living human existences, or if it is a kind of supernatural crime thriller - either are interesting, but lack of focus detracts a lot from the quality of the characters and relationships that we saw during season one. Also Season two has a lot more gore, doesn't help the plot move forward, seems to be more for shock value. I hope that the relationships become more interesting as the season continues.
Alina Costieanu *THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS*I just finished watch all 3 seasons of Hemlock Grove, i have to say that the movie had so much potential but they did so bad. First of all, the acting was awful and forced at some characters(Clementine Chasseur especially), complicated lines where they speak a lot of big words but don't say quite anything and some holes in the story. I think Roman sleeping with Annie was too much ( i mean, i understand that sleeping with Letha was shocking and intriguing but how much bad luck can he have, really). Bottom line, you can watch the show if you can bear bad acting, mistakes and broken scenario . The story is very good but they didn't know to work with it properly.
RedfordJack Season 1 was compelling if flawed because of Famke's acting/accent.Season 2 was pretty interesting and set the stage for a nice finish.Don't watch season 3. It makes no sense, and I think the actors knew it. They seemed to be just playing out their parts with some maybe interesting scenes, although maybe not.I think Netflix/someone needs to go back and restart from season 2 or even season 1.I'd like to see the bromance not be arbitrary as it was in season 2. Peter should have had similar feelings to Roman, and what was going on with the mom? Basically, it all fell apart.
