Brankica952 I never saw anything like this in American shows. It is brilliant. Greatest writing, even better acting. Cast is amazing, every character is so different and so true. I would never think that Louis CK would write something like this. Maybe not for everyone, but everybody should watch it.

tntmatracia Well, thank you everyone involved in this show. Have you ever watched a show with other people in the room and nobody said a word until it was over? You know - that completely absorbed, stunned, dumbfounded,completely satisfied kind of feeling that leaves you speechless.That is Horace and Pete. I don't chase stars and I don't write letters to celebrities but I would really like to thank Louis CK for this outstanding effort. You just don't get this kind of entertainment very often from anyone. All of the acting was outstanding the characters were heartbreaking and believable. I wish there was more to watch - but what the hell. This was darn near perfect.

Daktal Imagine "Cheers" only instead of being light-hearted, episodes would focus on the fact that Sam is a sexual predator, Norm is an alcoholic in a terrible marriage and Cliff is wanted for Federal crimes. Also, Jessica Lange hangs out there.It's shot like a play, there are few to no takes and no audience. The writing and story are really raw and at times it can feel really uncomfortable. You get see Alan Alda give several angry monologues that will make you laugh, but are not funny. Louis CK and Steve Buscemi are in it doing what they usually do, but it's much darker than you would think. And like I said; Jessica Lange is there. Being Jessica Lange.

Eric Louthain Nothing is more honest than this show. Life is full of ups and downs, and sometimes, a lot of downs. And sometimes the downs just keep coming. And sometimes, a lot of the time, they transverse through generations. And sometimes the downs are thrown unknowingly and subconsciously onto others, and thus the cycle and domino effect continues. Horace and Pete shows this so simply and beautifully. Well done. Well fking done.Like a lot of the reviews are saying, it is very up to date on its dialogue. Some I thought to be amazing, some, not so much. But overall it was true to what might be and probably is being brought up in a lot of bars across America today. Thank you for doing something so honest and out there. I'm sick of shows pretending things are so fking amazing or glorifying the drama of life. This show did neither, so thank you.
