At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

As a Pointless fan I can't believe the BBC is airing this dull drivel in the 5:15 slot. Poor format, dreary host. Should be called "Unwatchable".

The show is slow and uninteresting, viewers feel no need to engage with the questions, the host is bland and uncharismatic, and the music is unthematic, annoying, all over the place and frankly terrible.
Now that it's clear that pointless on they out, I really hope this isn't the show the beeb decide to replace it with. 5:15 should be reserved for only the best gameshows, like The Weakest Link, or Pointless in its early years.
Frankly, getting any enjoyment from this show is impossible

I love the show and think Rick is a great host. Admire his taste in fashion not many hosts wear a suit and tie and he always looks so smart but oh dear he's left his tie off in the new series, what a shame reduced to a Ben Shepherd look alike!! It won't stop me watching the show which has got to be one of the best on television.

I'm not sure if I'm just geeked because I love quiz shows but there's something special about this. Getting to know people and rooting for them as the series goes on is something really magical compared to shows like The Weakest Link and Eggheads, where we get to see them for one episode then they disappear. I really adore this series! Plus I have a huge crush on Alan haha!
