Reviews

Breakinger A Brilliant Conflict
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Mischa Redfern I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
avadias-42785 This show is very entertaining but why? It's not because of good writing, or good acting, or even a realistic story and set. It's because it is so fake and stereotypical. The characters in this show are all extremely stereotypical. Emma is shown as a very shallow and dumb highschool girl. She gets involved in pointless drama and is obsessed with being popular. Luke is probably the least stereotypical character, but he is still shown as a careless, smelly, dumb, middle school child. Ravi is shown as a genius child that is socially awkward. He is from India, and all of the other kids are constantly making fun of him for his traditions. Zuri is the youngest child, and she is shown as a careless, irresponsible girl that is always trying to skip school. If the kids sound bad, Jessie and the butler Bertem are even worse. Bertrem was hired to clean the house but he is extremely lazy and makes other people do his work for him. Jessie is just as lazy as Bertrem and she can't discipline the kids at all. She is more interested in getting a boyfriend and an acting job than she is in the kids. The kids' parents are almost never around, so the kids don't have any type of schedule or discipline system. They get away with whatever they want, and they are complete brats. They are disrespectful to adults, and they are mean and rude to their so called friends. This show has a terrible storyline and it's completely unfunny. It's so stereotypical and dramatic/fake. Unfortunately, it's so entertaining for so many (including me) because of those reasons.
bcindeed The Following May Contain Spoilers This show is decent for all family viewing the reason I say decent is some people may not appreciate the levels of rude humor through out, meaning jokes that characters make at the expense of another character. and there is some disrespect in this series to, so long as kids know not to treat people with disrespect then I trust this title with all ages.there are also run-ins with stereotypes but at the same time its all fictional and can be seen as a joke in and of itself if you don't take it to seriously though it can be annoying at times.overall while this series isn't to highly realistic, its still good for a few laughs and remembers sentiment when it needs to and is enjoyable! for a more classic approach to the same concept would be the 90's sitcom the nanny which would be worth a shot in my humble opinion
AdrienneGrayceMusic My niece left my house and the show was still on the TV.. I found myself still watching it, even though my niece was already gone. I couldn't believe how funny a kid's show was but I found myself watching a couple episodes until I gave in and looked for it on Netflix. As a 35 year old woman, I actually dig this show! Debby Ryan is so funny as Jessie. Sure, it is a bit unrealistic at times, but IT IS A KID'S SHOW for crying out loud. I doubt it will ever win an Emmy, but it is a funny, feel-good show that deserves a lot more recognition. I am so glad I discovered this show. America needs a lot more shows like this..on primetime TV instead of all the garbage thats out now. Less TEEN MOM and Honey Boo Boo and more JESSIE!
Catherine_Grace_Zeh "JESSIE," in my opinion, is an excellent Disney Channel show. I watch it with my 9-year-old nephew from time to time. I always smile and laugh whenever a mishap occurs. It's hard to say what the funniest one is. Another thing that makes this show funny is Trish's (Rani Rodriguez) comic relief. If you ask me, she always know just what to say and do to make the audience laugh. The writing is always strong, the performances are always good, and everything else about the show is good. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that if you don't have basic cable, you should get it. Now, in conclusion, I hope this will be on Disney for many years yet.
