Reviews

SeeQuant Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Jenni Devyn Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
jaco van der Merwe It was a midsummer's eve, i can still remember the faint air of destiny gnawing at my suspicions as I nonchalantly browsed television channels to rid me of my cumbersome boredom. Had i known before what my eyes would behold, had i known before the angel song my ears would absorb... had i only known before my life would've been soo much richer. Unfortunately as a middle aged man the advice dispensed in this tome of knowledge does me no good. However should i be lucky enough to father children i would tie the to a chair and force them to watch these three rapscallions and how they handle life, love and all the fierceness of High School social interactions. Had i only known 20 years ago what life was actually about i might have been successful and able to afford that Jetski that to this day eludes me. Thanks to Jonas i now see what life could've been for me and will not force my (non existing) children to walk down my path of a self loathing-jetskiless-man but rather guide them to follow the path of the JONAS
RuthieDear I think this show has gotten too much criticism from people who dislike the Jonas Brothers. It needs to be kept in mind that JONAS was meant to be a kids' show targeted at fans of the boys. At best, JONAS is a kid friendly comedy sure to draw in young and old fans alike. I won't trash it - this is just my opinion. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Jo Bros, but I am a fan of the Disney Channel in general. I'm eighteen years old and I still love watching shows like The Suite Life and Wizards. They have appealing, original characters, and the situations, while unbelievable, are engaging and creative. It's easy to get attached to the characters and their world. While I appreciate JONAS as a children's show, I think it lacks those qualities. The situations are used, the humor is trite, and the characters (particularly Macy and Stella) are stereotypical and shallow. It's just my opinion, but I find nothing engaging about their situations. In the last episode I watched the plot revolved around Joe accidentally dying their clothing blue. I was hoping for at least one laugh, but I was instead disappointed by a parade of unfunny jokes. If you're a fan of Joe, Kevin, and Nick, then I'm sure you'll enjoy JONAS. But if you're simply looking for a quality Disney comedy, I would not suggest this one.
ThaT_is_FanTasTic Before I took the time to sit down and watch JONAS, I never had been a fan of their music. I thought I was too old to listen to a "boy band," but then I saw an episode of the Jonas Brothers' show. I was really impressed! The three brothers are a riot together, and not bad actors to boot. I could not stop laughing because of the charm Kevin, Joe, and Nick portrayed on screen. Not to mention, the supporting characters of Stella, Macy, and the rest of the Lucas family were well cast, as well. I think what makes the show so fun is how everyone involved gets so into their characters and the story that the viewer can't help but have fun. The best part, though, is the new songs introduced in some of the episodes. Even in their television show, the Jonas Brothers work hard on their music, and it is AWESOME. I recommend this show to anyone who not only likes the band (which I will admit, because of the show I am also a fan now), but to anyone who loves a light-hearted, entertaining show.
dannuele_s It seems like every one who can sing wants to act. The Jonas brothers should have never tried acting. This is the worst show I have seen on Disney is a while. At moments they are over acting and looking very ridiculous at other moments they are not acting enough. Its clear they are only on a show because they are the Jonas Brothers. Its a very corny and lame show and has the same concept of Hanna Montanna. At times it seems like they are not even on the same page with each other. I love their music but this makes them look foolish. I think it is a great show to watch for boredom relief and to kill time. But other than that I don't see it making it past a year.
