zachjallen It's been hard to find educational shows that are not too young and not too old for our 3 1/2-year-old. This is perfect. I'm so happy to see Julie Andrews promoting and teaching the arts along with great and talented special guests. I love the diversity of each episode looking at all the different roles and skills that are used in a production and that nothing can stand in your way, physical or mental. I've seen mentioned that it would be better with real kids and it honestly doesn't make a difference to me or my daughter and it's a Jim Henson production which is known for using puppets.

melissacct I LOVE watching Julie Andrews, and this adorable show was a great way to introduce her to my youngest kids, and I also enjoyed seeing the special guest celebrity appearances. However, I had trouble loving the puppets. The show would have been better with a cast of real kids. I think children watching the show would appreciate seeing actual children learning the performing arts, and it would be more relate-able to them.

mks099 All the aspects of the arts are targeted each week with a special guest/guests artists. I am in heaven! I love that each week there is also a life learning lesson for the kids. Using Arts in curriculum is my joy as a teacher. Where has this show been my whole life? If you have kids, this is the show for them.

tm-sheehan I just watched the first few episodes and was entranced ,Dame Julie Andrews and her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton's new series is entertaining funny and educational and anyone ,child or adult who loves the theatre will adore this show.Its a theartre n workshop with great guests Human and puppet who take us on a journey of discovery of the craft and magic of Putting on a Show. Her young co host Giulian Yao Gioiello perfectly compliments Julie's experience and charm with youthful enthusiasm and talent.The first episode Julie and Giulian sing a very credible duet together and it's fgreat to hear Julie Andrews sing again even though of course no more of those glorious high notes. If you have children who are interested in the arts or just show talent or if you are like me and are someone who loves to be in the audience of a show ,which after all is the most important person in the theartre ,you'll love Julie,s Green Room one of the best things about it is it's common sense educational approach ,no kiddie talk or patronising chat here just fun and music.
