It's hard to find a plan that will grab the readers' attention. In a hurry, Kome finds a bookstore specializing in cats called "Nyankodo". She goes there to meet a lot of cats and store owners for the series. Kome gradually grows up by listening to the many encounters and kind episodes between the store owners and cats everywhere she goes.
